1. You have too! You've done a good job of rectumifying it. Car looks great now!
2. More HRE wheels! I have an entire album of that car on my PC at home!
3. 840 for me with a manual box.
4. HRE wheels. Theeeeeeeee Daddy of wheel manufacterers.
5. Carbon canister only helps remove excess fumes from the tank. AFAIK, it doesn't effect exhaust emissions.
6. That was sacrilege Bri! I've not done anything I've regretted. Always thought long and hard about what way to do things and what does/doesn't look good. Takes me ages to make my mind up about stuff.
7. LOL @ TMTTP! I was going to bring up Chis@Getgreddy again!
8. I have mild tractor knowledge. When I was a kid, a friend and I restored a few old classic tractors. I was brought up in rural Glastonbury and we had plenty of moor-land roads to use them on and shows in the summer months. Loads of land and storage for this kinda thing. Was quite cool. Used to take it to a few shows. I forget the model names, but we did 3. A Massey Ferguson, and 2 old Fordsons. Lost contact with him now, but I think he's still got all of them.
9. Did you just 'arrive'? LOL
10. I hate them, but England wouldn't be England without the plastic-pig and one thing I want to do before I die is drive one round a field! Not before I do this to a Renault 5 though!
11. Nice, if a little small meet today. Good to see everyone. I'd go back to that pub JUST for the 'pert' waitress!
12. I don't hate it, but it doesn't really do the car any favours. Shame as it looks a really clean one!
13. No, never had any problems, just that then.
14. This is what he's been doing lately.
15. Actually, come to think of it, I may have neglected that point. I was thinking from the standpoint of the spacers. Remembering back, the wheels were originally from an RX-7. Whilst PCD is the same, centrebore is ever so slightly different. I believe centrebore on the rex is something like 59.5mm, whilst the Z is 66mm. That'll give me a 6.5mm variance which equates to a 3.25mm radial (ie 3mm spigots). I've had the wheels on for 3 years now and they've been fine. So doubt it's caused any issue, but I may as well get some...if indeed I can get them that fine.
16. No mate, they are the right ones. :)
17. No, it won't effect the running of the car. Might be easier to do now if you have the wheels off. Just remember to plug the exhaust.
18. Changed the crank!??? Probably.
