  1. Will do! I can't wait to visit Fairlady Pro Shop! I'll get some photos of them with their UK 300zx Club swag!
  2. Tokyo Tower does look pretty cool. I'm sure I'll go up it. Best city views.
  3. I'm up that way on the last day of the month. Not sure they'll all fit in my Merc though....and no idea when I'd get them to you since I'm then off overseas for 2 weeks.
  4. http://www.biggred.co.uk Sorry, I haven't gotten back to you regarding the Pm you sent me. I'll look at that now.
  5. Enjoy! Are you over there now? Can't remember when you said you were going.
  6. Jimmer is gentle when your pride and joy is being flim-flammed, shim-shammed and a having a bit of shammering.
  7. I'm not, that's why I don't use cheap crimps. TBH, I only have a few solder joints on my car. I have replaced connectors or entire bits of loom.
  8. That one is in Okinawa, which I'm doing with some friends, but there's one in Tokyo too and it's a great way to get around the city! Who wouldn't want to ride round Tokyo on a street-legal go kart dressed up as Yoshi!?
  9. Thanks dude. Got some apps for the Tokyo metro etc Hope you have a blast too. :) I have a confirmed reservation for this:
  10. This is kinda my point. ;) Unfortunately mil-spec and aviation spec cable splicing and jointing systems that are used in motorsport applications aren't something that Joe public knows about and can get at his local auto store. Those crappy bullet connectors that you see in autoparts stores are dreadful. They're weak and have zero environmental protection. It also doesn't help that the low voltage automotive cabling is thin and cheap.
  11. That's because all aviation wiring is internal or in sealed areas. - - - Updated - - - Yeah Joel, shut up!!
  12. Feels like it's right at the top. I'll take the rim off and give my ring a little play. :)
  13. OK, I'll prepare some things to throw at the TV!
  14. I don't think so. Before I fitted it, I counted the turns either way from extremity to dead centre to extremity.
  15. Apparently a Datsun Z car - assume it'll be a 240.
  16. Has anyone had a slightly squeaky or noisy slip ring/squib? Mine has a very slightly squeak at 3/4 turn and continues from the same spot at the next turn. I assume it's the slip ring as it sounds like it's plastic squeaking against plastic. Has anyone had similar and used a bit of lube to quieten? I'd imagine a small blob of PTFE grease would cure it, but could it be anything else?
  17. Some people reported it here yes, although I didn't notice anything.
  18. Just double check the glass fitment Richie if you're getting water ingress. There are two bump stops for the glass, you could try adjusting those if the window is sitting too low against the rubbers.
  19. I used supply Westlands in a previous job. Last trip I did there they were refurbishing a bunch of Seakings for an overseas contract. They are huge in person, quite often get them flying overhead as Yeovil isn't too far from here.
  20. - - - Updated - - - Awesome pic dude.
  21. Budget? Custom or off-the-shelf? Sound/loudness?
