  1. Reckon the Greddy bumper would look a LOT better than the Stillen one. :)
  2. That is awful. :hurl: One ruined Z in many ways.
  3. Utterly horrendous modification. Lambo door conversions are seriously pitiful. They are ugly, they look silly in operation. I'd rather have no doors on my Z than have a lambo door conversion. I'd say don't do it and save your pennies and get the original tailgate refitted instead.
  4. As/when you fit the kit, smooth out those pointless little fieldmouse vents. Seen it done and makes an amazing improvement! It's the only thing that lets the kit down IMO. Same can be said for the wings west skirts too.
  5. Hope you put the strosek front and smooth nose panel back on.
  6. They are ok. Although they are the large diode ones. You'll get bright spots with those as you can't populate them that close to each other. Still think closely populate SMD LEDs are the way to go.
  7. Right, been doing a bit more delving around. I've spoken with a few companies about producing PCBs populated with a matrix of SMD LEDs and it's gonna be mega costly. £1k+ before instalation! So custom work/prototyping is probably out of the question. BUT, I have another solution. You can actually buy SMD LED matrix. Currently, they are still pretty expensive and I'd imagine that to stack enough of them side by side to fill just one of the apertures would still cost. But, providing you can mate them all together, it's doable. This one is a colour variable one, so kinda pricey, but you get the idea. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8-8-60-60mm-RGB-Full-Color-Dot-Matrix-LED-Display_W0QQitemZ260503286186QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ca734b1aa These are slightly cheaper, but you get 3 per pack, but they are quite thick. So you're limited with space really. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8x8-Bi-Colour-LED-Dot-Matrix-Pack-of-3-Arduino-Ideal_W0QQitemZ230426638225QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item35a67f7791
  8. Still can't get into drifting/see the appeal in it. Would love people to start racing these in some of the Historic events or something.
  9. Some Japanese manufacturer called Aeroplace. You can't get it over here and Smithy has modified his. The rest of his car has had quite a lot of bodymods done, so it all works well together. Not sure it would suit a Kaminari rear. If you had the Kaminari rear, I'd suggest Stillen skirts and either the Stillen type 2 or GTZ extension. Gives a really neat and tidy look. This shows the stillen skirts...
  10. Seconded. Best effort I've seen so far. Round rear lights look awful on the Z32. A very ungainly and sometimes fussy look. These at least are in proportion with the car. But look a little untidy against the stock centre panel. But it's well done.
  11. What's with all the apostrophes?? LOL You only needed 3 there! Agreed, other than Smithy's one, bonnet vents don't really do anything visual for the Z. Can understand that people do it for function as well. But, plenty of stock looking Z32s pushing 600bhp+ from our friends in the states with original bonnets and no garish bumpers/nose panels/vents everywhere. So they certainly aren't really a requirement for big HP Zs.
  12. ZCentre, although this one has been blended and modified to incorporate the nose peice which is what makes it really work well.
  13. Can't go wrong with the Kaminari rear. One of the few aftermarket rear bumpers that actually looks good. Vents just don't work well on the Z as it's such a smooth flowing simple shape. Vents and cutouts in the body only ruin the lines. The WORST example of this are those horrific fibreglass viper front wings. A truly awful creation. The ONLY bonnet vent I've ever seen that looks good on the Z32 is this....
  14. Here, cleaned it up and got rid of all the shit. Looks ok now. That bonnet is foul and so were the pointless vents and stickers all over it.
  15. Looks like a Bomex front bumper. Might be an idea to add a photo of the rear if you want people to identify it. That Z looks awful.
  16. Great stuff! Nice to see black silicon hoses too! Nothing worse that garish coloured ones!
  17. Huh? Maestro Estate? You must be getting confused with the Montego Estate! BTW, do you know they still make these in China! Infact, they made the Maestro over there with a Montego front end! Maybe they should call it the 'Monstro'. Called something stupid like an Etsong Lubao.
  18. Dry as a bone here and I hope it stays that way. I FOOKIN HATE the snow. Next week, it can snow all it likes as I'll be Cape Town in the warmth of a southern hemisphere summer!
  19. Daz, your signature has all the quality of an Austin Maestro Clubman diesel.
  20. When you get them repainted. Get the 'jade-r' thing filled in. :) Heaven knows why they called a manly looking wheel 'Jade'. Mind you, the Japanese called the Z cars 'Fairlady'. So maybe it goes! hehe You could also get some etched centre caps with 'Z' or 'Nissan' written on them.
