fan in roof
Won't hurt taking it out. It's just a small recirc fan. You'll find 75% of Z32s don't have fully working ones. Most are seized.

Pretty sure they are Mitsubishi's own turbo as they have a turbocharger division iirc.

20 inch rims on my vert?
Borderline. They look good though, but some styles look bigger than others. 20s, will look silly.

20 inch rims on my vert?
19s are too big for a shorty, 20s will look utterly ridiculous.

Do you think that sometimes less is more?
Couldn't have put it better myself. There are soooooooo many Z32s out there that have been ruined. The car is a simple clean shape and doesn't wear huge bumpers, silly ott spoilers and lurid paint etc very well. It has a classy and classic shape and looks great straight out of the box. Thing a lot of people want to be is 'different'. "I want to change this that and the other to be different and stand out". Often....that's for the wrong reason. The Z already stands out and get ruined when people start bolting on a calamity of fiberglass junk, gay stickers, round lights, nasty wheels and other horrendous bolt on accessories. A lot of people just buy and fit bits without really looking at the car they are going on. Some of the worst mods for the Z32 are viper wings (without doubt, the ugliest and most hideous of aftermarket bits...bumpers aside), Veilside kits, round rear lights, razor blade rear spoilers, mesh, vents, silver wiper blades/arms, single exit exhausts, garish skirts, seat belt harness pads, vented nose panels, stickers up the doors. Awful stuff.

Keep colours to a minimum and non-clashy usually works. You've done that with the hoses. I really don't like multi coloured hoses. Black/silver always wins for an engine bay. Same goes for the interior. Best thing to do is not to clutter up the dash with unnecessary gauges and other stuff as it just looks a mess.

Leather trim revitalising
Much better ways of getting your seats looking new if you buy the correct products. Best thing to do is to first start with a leather degreaser. Soak out all the oils and fats. Then re-dye before re-lacquering (with matte leather lacquer...the same process used during the manufacturing process of leather). Shoe polish will cover up the crack marks but it'll leave your seats very highly polished....like the seats from a Ford Granada Taxi cab. Best thing to do is to take front and rear seats out of the car. Wipe them down with a mild leather cleaner and then use a leather degreaser to release all the inground oils. Once you have a clean dry base to work from, you can then set about recolouring them with correct leather dye. When the dye has been absorbed and dried, you can then attend to them with a lacquer. Lacquering is part of the manufacturing process of leathers and this process can be redone. You can get correct kits. Make sure you get an air brush. You can order a matte lacquer too which will give you an OEM look to it. Befores, using that process. Afters Again, some more... Before... After cleaning, re-dying....and here shown lacquering. Complete...

Geothermal energy is great providing you're in an ideal location. I don't believe the UK is sat on a tectonic plate that would allow us to effectively extract heat. It's all done by water and places like parts of Scandinavia have huge underground reservoirs heated by the earth's core. UK doesn't unfortunately.

Smooth skirts
Yes, which is why I think the Stillen extension will look more aggressive. The thing with the Scarab type bumpers, unless you're going to smooth the skirts into the bodywork, it simply won't match the rest of the car. Now, that is part opinion, but also part fact. You've got a natural groove the runs round the car. When fitting these types of bumper, the designer didn't really take this into consideration and deleted it. So it doesn't fit with the rest of the car. It suddenly disappears. Makes the car look miss matched and awkward. There's no way around it unless you're going to smooth the skirts into the car. GT-Z extension IMO will be the version that will match your skirts.

Front bumper looks nasty. LOVE the wheels.

Keep the front bumper, just get a Stillen extension for it. Most after market complete bumpers look pap IMO.

modding a zed?
Stock recirc valves are fine. Just forget the whole dump valve thing (they are completely useless and pointless) unless you're going for crazy power with management.
