  1. Yes....the whole car is aluminum.....
  2. Damn! Maybe it's time to just.....give up. :wack:
  3. I can't work out what goes through someones head when they want to do that. Make something look shit! They did that with Michael Jackson's face and everyone took the piss out of him! They are aluminium! You'll never get it to rust THANK FOOK!
  4. You don't need much money to buy a straight Z. Why buy a shit one? I dare you to try and get the bonnet to go rusty by sanding.
  5. No. Cause the rat crowd think they are above cool....which is what makes it so awful. Also, going against cool to look shit?
  6. Oh good God! The very worst in modifications. It is worse than blinged up chrome wheels. The rat look is the very worst and most pathetic look IMO....most agree. Why make a nice car look shit? Completely and utterly pointless. It's crap in the dub scene and even worse everywhere else. Don't even try to sand the bonnet and wait for it to go Rusty....you'll be waiting forever! Cable ties, rust and dents are definitely NOT cool.
  7. There's plenty of interesting stuff there. At Znationals they had a few V8 powered S14as which were done really well. Shame I didn't get photos of those. VQ45 engines. There's always a red 240 with 650bhp Chevy V8 in it...that guy goes to most of the shows in the midwest. Sounds amazing. The GT-Rs are popular, usually about 7 or 8 of them turn up.
  8. Seems Western Union is the Nigerian choice of banking.
  9. I really should get to more UK shows. I have been to Japfest at CC a few times. But the weather is always so dreary. A lot of the other shows have always clashed with other things I was doing and/or the weather was shite. Don't really get much enthusiasm for parking up in a field in a tent for a weekend with it pissing down with rain. Hopefully this year, the weather will be good and I'll have enough time to get to them. I do want to try and get to JAE or the 'other' show. The US shows are good, very different from the UK car enthusiast scene. Lots of different activities/drives/shows/drag and track events. Also, the authorities in the US are much more car friendly, whereas over here, they are very anti-car and try to prevent you doing anything. A MWZF last year, the local police shut down a old large iron bridge that spanned the Colorado River for us in Tulsa and we had the entire thing just for the show....that would NEVER happen over here! LOL. I can't imagine any hotel would agree to having 40 car enthusiast stay on its site and hosting a banquet for them either. Everyone's just anti-car in the UK I did a lot of the UK show scene when I had my last car and got a little tired of it. Tended to be a yearly weekend meet at Billing camps site or Santa Pod and that was it....all the other shite like the Fast Car show and Max Power...never interested me at all...or that yearly chav fest called 'Donny'. I really need to get my Znationals photos up. They are still in my camera!
  10. :headvswall Don't use a brillo pad!!!
  11. You sure they are chrome rimmed? Not stainless pressings or polished alloy? Bares a large factor on what products to use.
  12. Branson Z Fest is held every year in Branson, Missouri. Caters for all the Z car range, S series, Skylines and G series Nissans. I've not been yet, but keep getting bugged my 3ZC admin of whom I've been to other Z shows across the US to. Initial plan was to meet up with some crazy guys in LA who drive cross country via Oregan!!! That was a 5 day drive in a Z which would have been fun, but I don't have that sort of time since I'll be down in San Diego mostly. So, I'm flying into Springfield (MO) from Los Angeles. Then heading upstate to Rolla to pick up my ride for the duration of the show. A silver 1993 2+2 with brand new suspension, 370Z wheels and loads of other new stuff on before the drive down to Branson which is about 20 miles from the state line of Missouri and Arkansas. Lots of partying at the hotel, theres a big show, drag race day and then 2 days worth of cruise routes through the Ozark mountains. Wanted to drive these roads for a few years now and will get the chance in a Z!
  13. Not a fan of black wheels at all, but I like the style and that's a good stance! :)
  14. Hahaha! Long Longs? Dude, you really didn't need to start this thread! Murt was running Linglongs for a while. Absolutely terrible tyre. Compound so hard, they never wore out....but they never gripped either! Litter! Find your nearest speed camera, throw one over and set light to it!
  15. Have you seen my wheels?? They are much worse to clean than BBS LM because of the recessed lip!! :) They are a similar design, but quite different IMO. Plus I'd be going up a size as well.
  16. I have some porno DVD's I can send for a laugh.
  17. Damn that's cheap! CRP too. Not seen a 2+0 in CRP for a loooong time! Manual conversion and some replacement interior and that's perfect....although I'd never own a slicktop. Love my t-tops too much!
  18. That's kinda what I'd planned. ;)
  19. Have you seen how many people work at sorting offices? I somehow doubt anyone would be able to trace a fiver.
  20. So is there any point in having one at all at this rate!? LOL
  21. Jammers are highly illegal though, where as detectors are not illegal in the UK, just parts of mainland Europe. I don't want to jam a rader anyway, I want to drive within the law, I just want pre-warning incase I've made an error and passed through an area at the wrong speed. So turning off the radar....that would only give me laser only? I guess most police camera vans are laser aren't they? I dunno.
  22. Thanks guys. Food for thought. I'll see how I get on with the Snooper and then maybe try a Road Angel or an Origin.
  23. From what I've read, Snoopers are ubber sensitive and things like automatic doors on shop fronts would set it off....but there is a City mode on it. I'd rather it be too sensitive than not at all. Heard that Road Angels are pretty good.
  24. Been looking at Snoopers and Road Angels. Bought a Snooper online, but if it's crap, I'll look at getting a Road Angel. Now, I have a Tom Tom which carries things like speed limits on roads, sites of fixed cameras etc. Wanting a Radar Detector just to be on the safe side. I know there are various models made by both manufacturers. The Snooper I've bought is a Snooper SD715iS. Anyone use these?
