door handle removal???
Outside handle is quite tricky. Basically you have 2 nuts that secure it to the door skin. One is accessable quite easily, the other, you need to pop off the little grey plastic blanking plug. Stick a small deep reach in there and unscrew. To pull the handle off, you pull out the bottom part and gradually lift it upwards (from the forward part of the handle). Lift it right up (pivoting it from the back of the handle) and it should pull out. Refit in reverse. It is tricky....and also quite difficult to explain.

Nope. I'll come along in the night and put some black wiper arms on it when you're not looking. You'll be amazed how much more neat and tidy it'll look. :D

That all depends on the style of the wheel and what car it's going on. For example. 19s on a SWB do look too large in the majority of cases. On a LWB, they look more in proportion. That said, some do not. Something like a dished BBS LM which has a graduated lip with a smaller centre *centre is probably about 17 - 18 inches in diameter* will always look smaller than a plain wheel with no dish and spokes that go right to the edge of the rim lip. I believe that 19" BBS LM will look just right. Mine are 18 and could look slightly bigger and be able to get away with it.

I'd rather hammer nails through my scrotum than fit anything as horrific as a Veilside bumper! :hurl:

£100 pound engine
I got a reply from him! Complete with poor grammar too! Dear groovy_simon, I have a plastic welder and can make this bumper perfect in under 1 hour your talking out of your arse - islandsalvage To which I replied.... Dear islandsalvage, Then why don't you instead of putting up that mess and wanting 40 quid? People give away mint ones on the owners' forums. It's stretched way beyond its elastic memory and no amount of plastic welding gun will get that looking true. Nissan use a really thin plastic on these and the only way you'll get it looking 'perfect' is to melt it down and remould. I am not talking out of my arse. I think you're over estimating your abilities. I own 1 of these cars and work for a company that manufacture plastic components for industry! - groovy_simon

No. That looks dumb as well as it already has indicators in the wings! LOL Other than the BBS wheels, it'll still retain a vastly OEM look.

Sod that. Why would I want to do that? The side window structure has a natural shape. Which is why I never understand why people put up chrome parts on it or painting it bodycolour messing up the shape. Eeeek! ;)

I don't think white has ever really been out of fashion, it's just become more popular. Colours like browns go in and out of fashion. Think they never should have been in fashion in the first place, but BMW, Peugeot and a few others now offer a metallic brown and it's awful. That will go out of fashion. Pure white is kinda neutral, just in the same way as black is. Black never goes out of fashion. 5 years ago it was more 'in' though.

Narrr, I've always prefered the early TT front bumper to the 99-spec and strangely enough...still do. But I think with the updates, the 99 front will work better with the colour and modern touches I want to add. Also, never been a fan of 99-spec skirts until recently. This has kinda persuaded my mind a little.

Feel it's time for a freshen up 'maybe'. I've been thinking over in my head what to do. Initially, bayside blue....always wanted that colour! BUT, I think I'd want to start again from scratch if doing that and whites are really in at the moment. I should hopefully be getting a nice bonus toward the end of this year and due a payrise next month! So should have quite a bit more disposable income which I can throw at the Z. Plans are as follows....some of it goes against what I've said in the past, but since I'm updating, I think it should work well. For starters, the interior is staying untouched. Happy with that and will go well with the new paint. I want to get it done in either the new 370Z pearl white or the new Toyota pearl white which I recommended to Madmax....infact it'll be going to the same paintshop as the one he used. I've seen first hand the quality of finish on his Z32 and on his 911 and it's really top notch! UK-spec blue tint window glass will follow with gloss black roof frames. A 99-spec front bumper with all the OEM grille and other fixings. Possibly 99-spec skirts that I can get through Z32-zone, maybe 99-spec headlights.... ..and some 19" BBS LM wheels. I'll probably leave the pin strip off as with the 99-skirts, they don't look right. Its just pie in the sky stuff at the moment, but that's how I envisage it looking. Everything else will stay the same. Will just get new mouldings and seals etc. Mine are all in really good condition, but I want the 'as-new' look.

Everyone is moaning about ebay today!
Maybe, although would only really want to swap for something of equal calibre. Although contemplating a set of 19" BBS LMs toward the end of the year.
