  1. Pros and cons. Later cars do tend to be a lot more spartan and less spec'd though. I think the best spec'd cars are series 2 ones. I like models from all years though. Newer ones are great, but I think I'd plump for a series 2 SWB TT targa if I was going to go for another.
  2. Yup, the 'Dodge Stealth' was a rebadged version of the GTO. The 2wd NA version is FWD!!!!
  3. KH3 is solid black.
  4. It's just the material in series 1 Z32s that let it down. The shape is infinitely more appealing than the ugly shape of the GTO's dash. It's messy and ungainly. I've driven both and the interior of the Z is a much more pleasant place to be.
  5. Completely stock. Travelling out of Wilton on the A36.
  6. Yup, no worries. It's probably closer to me than it is to Murt! It's in a bizarre location south of Bristol. But yeah, I am sure one of us can help.
  7. Bolt on. Contact Zedworld. Go for 275 rears (on a 9.5" wide wheel). Like mine. :)
  8. 245 is skinny as hell as well for the rear. I have those up front on mine. You need to know the wheel width before you start fitting wider tyres. TBH, it might be worth your while getting a new wheel/tire package. Would make the car look a lot nicer. Easiest conversion for the clocks is to buy a set of UK clocks. You can fit a converter that alters the clocks, but the HICAS will be out of step then unless you're gonna disable it.
  9. I'd imagine it's probably KH3.
  10. Of course, US imports are exempt as there's no Euro emissions report for them.
  11. Nope, it does NOT look better. You have a natural elliptical shape created each side....you'd need to have eyesight as good as Ray Charles to think that that works. :wack:
  12. My God, is it really that much? That's €500 more than it was last year? How the feckin' hell can your government justify that? I mean, how many cars over the age of 15 years old are there? Why would they want to make life miserable for the few people that own older higher performance cars that rarely get used!!?? I think that's the flat rate for Europe isn't it? Time to vote UKIP if that's what we're to expect. It almost makes sense for you to register the car in the UK and get it taxed here....you'd save £1,000!
  13. What a turd. Satin black is revolting on an EPIC scale. A great way to make your car look old, tired and unsellable!
  14. Actually, scrap that. bobbyfame wrote it off about a year ago.
  15. bobbyfame bought it from Corvetteman, he's in London. Not sure if he then sold it on....
  16. Think that's Corvetteman's old Z. Black TT with a smooth lip spoiler. Can't remember who he sold it to.
  17. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!! Have a good one mate :happybday::chef::punk::sorcerer::cowboy::walkman::gunsmilie:
  18. I know, I was trying desperately to avoid all the pot holes at heading to the meet yesterday. You really notice them in the Z. My Passat can cope with anything, but they kill the Z! Good job I only bother taxing and using mine for 6 months of the year!
  19. As above ^^. Stock brakes loose 'feel' over time, but they still stop pretty well. I took a friend out in my Z last week. Did a spirited launch and then hard on the anchors. He was blown away by how well it braked....and mine aren't even refurbed. They do lack 'feel' though, but I am sure with a set of braided lines and refurbed calipers, they'll feel more positive. No problem with stopping distance in 'em though!
