Actually don't mind your front bumper, with Kaminari skirts, it would all be in proportion. Think it would look nice. Very few aftermarket bumpers available over here that actually suit the Z, infact I can think of none. It's a shame we can't get the likes of Impul or ABFlug very easily. All the nice attractive complimentary aero parts for the Z are very hard to get hold of, hence why there's so much hideousness on the Zcentre site.

Because it looks like something found on the front of something from robot wars.

£87.50 for a manual gearbox!!!
I'll have a chat with Russell or something then. Can't promise anything. He knows I know you as we had a chat about you at the Nationals in Atlanta....albeit a drunken one! Will see what I can do anyway.

It's time I got you a credit account set up at Z1 Jim. Want me to have a chat with Russell or John?

All depends on budget mate and what style you want to go for. Personally I prefer the look of the smaller and more old skool EBCs as opposed to the large ungainly looking expensive ones that clutter up the dash.

Any of you South Central, South Wales or Midlands lot bored this weekend?
I remember now Jim! Jesus, yeah! He posted up some photos. Wasn't PK1 that did it, the guy after who owned it was the guy the kinda...well, did that to it.

AMS products good or bad?
I'm friends with the owner of AMS, Vuk Zivic. I'm seeing him again next month actually in the US. They are good quality products and the guys that run/own AMS are very experienced and trustworthy. They supply Z1 as well. You can buy direct through Z1, AMS or even the 3ZC store that we have on the US 300zx site.

Jimmer's good with Conzult. I've only used it a few times. Come along mate! Be good to see you again. :)

Nope, that's what the MAF is for. All it does is allow the car to breath slightly better. Always best off resetting your ECU by unplugging the battery for a while to clear the self-taught map. Well, a powerflow is marginally better than the stock exhaust.....just. Least you'll loose some of the restrictions. Fitting the filter requires removal of the stock filter box. It's a bit of an arse to get off, but just takes some wiggling! The A'pexi filter is designed for the Z32 and simply screws on to the MAF.

Get your company to send you down Chris and tell 'em you want to take the Z instead of the van!

Providing you do everything correctly, reliability shouldn't be an issue. How are your brakes? Might need to check those out first. As for the engine, make sure it's in tip top condition and that all the sensors are working correctly and within range (a simple hook up to conzult will tell you whether your MAF, O2 sensors etc are all good). Make sure your turbos are holding boost well and are not tired and smokey. Might be worth doing a compression test also (although Conzult's power balance test will give you a rough indication as to cylinder condition). Then, time for a good service making sure you fit the cooler NGK spark plugs. Then, get yourself a good quality air filter. A'pexi are the best proven filters on the market for the Z32. Did you say your exhaust was completely stock? Ditch that. Reasonable cat back exhausts can be had on ebay for as little as 350 quid. Next, you'll need a chip to increase fueling. If you don't do this, on higher boost, you'll suffer detonation problems/running lean and will ultimately screw your pistons. JeffTT, DTA or John Dixon will be able to sort you out with this. Now, you're ready to increase the boost. You can do this one of two ways. By fitting mig tips inside your boost pipes to force the actuators to open further or by fitting a boost controller. Boost controllers are better. They'll reduce boost spikes to a minimum and they are more controllable. Things to avoid as they are pointless : Iridium plugs, dump valves, removing your cats UNLESS your turbos are good. Your car will feel noticeably quicker and will sound better, but will have little effect on how well it drives on the road. You'll of course notice an increase in fuel consumption, especially when boosting.

Who remembers this Dodge Power Wagon?
Odd, I found myself watching that only yesterday. I loved Clarkson's Motorworld. Thought it was excellent. I think he's better as a documentary presenter than he is on TG.

25th April Meet
I'm going to be going cross country. Probably will go via Bristol airport, head to Chippenham, pass over the M4 heading for Malmsbury and then on to Ashton Keynes. Murt/Jimmer, if you fancy meeting near the airport, we could drive on from there.
