You actually watched it Kim? I went out in the Z. Much more satisfying. I am PMSL at all the facebook updates at the moment. Everyone's in a crap mood and I've had a great evening! :D

Who's going for a drive on deserted roads tomorrow?
I flew back from Los Angeles last Thursday mate. I'm back now pretty much to the end of the year apart from a weekend in Munich, some random jaunts to France and over BH weekend in August, I'm sailing a friend's 50ft yacht over to Holland...other than that, I'm about, so just let me know when you're down here. There's always kitkats and cups of tea ready! :D

12k!? For what?

Clay barred & New wheels on.
I'd go for the Blitz wheels. Not sure they suit your car. You need a track slag stance to pull those off. They are a nice wheel....just on the wrong car.

Whats the best polish for light scatches??
T-cut isn't that great and steer clear of Colour Magic. Colour Magic only masks the problem, it doesn't have any paint correction properties. You need a mild cutting compound. G3 is pretty good as has been suggested. Might be worth taking it to a detailer to get the car machine polished. Not only will it get rid of the blemishes you see, it'll give the overall clear coat a much better and deeper shine. If you do it yourself, make sure you then use a lighter polish after the G3 and then top it up with a quality wax.

Would this Apexi fit our cars?
Yup, better filtration and airflow over any other manufacturer (proven). I went for an A'pexi.

dear lord - go single exit!
Completely disagree....the amount of people who've said to me 'your car sounds absolutely gorgeous' is quite high. GTR does sound good....as it's a V6. Find inline-6s sound droany. Never thought the RB sounded that great as much of a good engine it is...and the 2J sounds pretty decent. But I just don't think they sound anywhere near as nice as a VG with a 'quality' dual exhaust system.

Obama,s righteous stance
Piper Alpha didn't kill thousands nor was there much need for a clean up operation. Only in the local vicinity, certainly did not affect any coastline or much in the way of marine wildlife. Death toll for the Piper Alpha killed about 150 from memory.

Incorrect, it's identical!

Obama,s righteous stance
Piper Alpha was a gas rig.

Obama,s righteous stance
My wording was incorrect. Halliburton were responsible for cementing the drill into place below the water. The company completed the final cementing of the oil well and pipe just 20 hours before the blowout.

Fairlady
A Fairlady 1500 turned up to the Branson Z fest in Missouri last week. Cool as hell!

Totally agree. Ugly as sin.

I've been to many Z meets (from regional to national meets) in the US as well as driving round 17 states and have never seen a tailgate tub on a Z32 or any other aftermarket trunk lids for that matter. Plus I'm a moderator on the US forum and no one on there has one either!

Obama,s righteous stance
It was actually an American owned and operated oil rig! Unfortunately BP were the poor buggers that sub contracted the work out. It was part owned by the Halliburton Corporation who are based in Houston. I actually feel sorry for BP. Whilst it was not their mistake directly, they are responsible for the oil spill since it was their oil that was being extracted. They do appear to be pouring vast quantities of money at it and putting huge amounts of effort into clearing it up. On a flip side, I feel for the American people along the shores of the US gulf. Fisheries and tourism make up the lion's share of the economy here. Whilst I understand Obama's stance in wanting to help his people, I do feel sorry for BP....whilst the American corporation employed to extract the oil seems to have gotten away with it all.

Fairlady
I agree! I was always a little embarrassed about the 'Fairlady' badge on the back. When I got my 99 spec rear lights (after a few months of ownership) the old faided perspex panel was replaced with a new one and the name was removed forever!

Fairlady
You have 3 of them and you didn't know this? LOL

dear lord - go single exit!
Sounds ok. Just not as good as a twin system. Nice birdsong. :D

Single exit exhausts still suck. :wack:
