  1. Hopefully you'll see the light and change your mind. It'll look much more slick and pleasing to the eye with the original wings. Good luck though, the rest should look good. :)
  2. Sounds interesting. A real shame you're fitting viper wings though.
  3. I was happy the day my Fairlady badge was removed.
  4. Must twin system exhausts have an X or H bridge.
  5. Put up 'Wanted, 18" wheels' rather than '300zx wheels'. You'll have people thinking you're after stock rims otherwise.
  6. Sounds as restrictive as my bung hole when I've eaten too much red meat. :wack:
  7. Been in both, heard both via driveby and on hard launch. I've more interest fitting a dual system to a 1.25 Fiesta than fitting a single exit to a Z32. I'd rather sell up.
  8. Hate them, sounds like arse in comparison to the lovely offset burble of the VG and looks awful too. V6s with true twin systems sound so much better than inline 6s.
  9. It won't make it any stronger though Dave..... :wack:
  10. They aren't even real carbon!
  11. ...interesting stuff! Still looks like anus when people glue bits of it to their car though. http://www.wimp.com/carbonfiber/
  12. ....damn, my maths sucks. That'll give you effective +17 rather than +18 with 15mm spacers.
  13. Rears look ok, but fronts, to look flush, you'll need at least 10mm spacers. Probably go for 15mm as you can just about get away with a +18 on an 8.5" wheel provided it's not too low and you've tapped up the little edge bracket at the front of the arch where the liner screws into.
  14. Forget offsets on their own. You need to know width to work out what offset is ideal. One does not work without the other.
  15. Incorrect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Width AND offset need to be taken into account and zero offset on a 9.5" wheel does not in any way mean it'll sit flush with the arch on a Z. 9.5" on a rear, to have it sitting flush with the arch, the ideal offset is about +35. For the fronts with that width, probably about +25.
  16. Evenin'. Another Bristol member. I lived in Portishead for a few years. There's a meet on this weekend if you want to come along. Check the regional forums for details.
  17. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=79509&highlight=LED Not that it's not available, just that it looks shite. I am sure LED technology has moved on a bit since then and you might be able to get micro cluster bulbs.
  18. I was actually going to ask this question as of yesterday. I did years ago, will try and find the thread. Danny @ DTA said they weren't available...I'll have a hunt.
  19. 1 Murt 2 Chayden 3 White-zed 4 Sir Charles 5 J1oky 6 Db Nathan 7 Geja 8 funkysi...in the Z. Weather is supposed to be fantastic for Sunday!....but kinda want to head back around 4 as I really need to go round to the parents' and see the old guy on fathers' day. 9 10
  20. How strange. A black one overtook me today further back down the M4 today as well near Reading.
  21. Basically check the droplinks, tension rods and camber arms. You can see if the tension rod bushes have split as they'll leak silicone. Other stuff to replace are the strut top gaskets, the shock bellows as they split. You shouldn't need bump stops unless yours are split or perished. Eibach springs are stiffer and barely lower the car, so you're unlikely to bottom out.
