JaiKai - Full rebuild & Respray
You can't from Nissan, but ConceptZ have started printing copies. You could get in touch with them or just find another breaker. I had a few, but they ended up at landfill I'm afraid.

Haynes Breakfast Club meeting - Sunday April 12th
Yup, the've only just changed it! I had wondered why they were going to have it on Easter day, but because I have no ankle biters or family committments, I didn't really think any further than that! http://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/events/2439-9700/haynes-breakfast-club.php

1st Southern meet - 12th April
Sorry to post this here - we've had a date change, those that are coming, it's moved to the 12th, those that weren't originally because it was Easter - you can probably now go! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?180407-Haynes-Breakfast-Club-meeting-Sunday-April-12th&p=1863294#post1863294 Anyone else is of course invited! :) Apologies for the confusion - I'm turning into spindoctor!

Correct! Another roll call! Looks like this has been moved to the 12th!!!! I had wondered - their original dates suggested the 5th...which yes, is Easter Sunday...

Has Jeremy gone to far this time.
Not to mention the fact that Guy Martin is...well, rather odd! lol

quick one - ticking noise...
I agree with the above. I personally do not like additives or flushes. Do a number of oil changes in quick succession; quality modern oils have detergents in them anyway. If they aren't removing the blockages in the lifters, then take the lifters out and soak them in diesel for a few days.

Here's Kev's eclipse!- For those looking for a Zed
...and arch and it's bubbling below the filler cap. Sill looks dented. Looks ok for the money. Probably about the right price being an auto. Looks like there's a nasty dent on the door.- Another film 300
The worst films I've seen the Z32 in are Good Burger and Dolphins. In fact Dolphins is so utterly awful, I couldn't watch it all the way through.- Removed the wing today...
Who did you buy that from?- What did you do to your zed today?
Stripped all the boot plastics out and lined the edges and contact panels with anti-rattle tape. It's already made a difference and I haven't even been anywhere in it!- UK 300zx
And here endeth this lesson. As EVERYONE has suggested and keeps suggesting, this is your biggest problem. A: you're trying to do this on a shoestring, B: you want far more than you 'think' you can get.- UK 300zx
Fishman, what is your CURRENT budget and what EXACTLY is it that you want? I agree with Mondo, I think you want the car for different reasons than those on here who own them. Am I correct in thinking you have £2.5k currently to spend on a TT manual with no rust? If so, keep looking.....Or do you have £4.5k and expect a mag featured 600hp fire breathing animal? Your stories keep changing. I think you should just get an Evo with your £4.5k since it's better anyway.... Skyline GTSs are 10 a penny, there are more GTR models than 300zxs, so you can afford to be choosy in that market...this market is VERY different.- UK 300zx
I think it's comments like that that probably get people's backs up. TBH mate, I've seen you posting on here over the past few months and it just reads like a young kid who wants his first BMX, but can't save enough paper round money. Your comments and understanding appear to be very low and you've brushed off most advice. The biggest issue with cars around your budget IS rust, finding one without generally means it's been looked after and therefore will demand a premium. It's just the way it is I'm afraid....don't get members started on running costs either. TBH, I don't think there is much you can get that's better if you view the car for what it was designed as. An Evo? Yeah, I appreciate them, but they aren't pretty by any stretch of the imagination, I have NEVER lusted after them despite their awesome mechanicals. As for Skylines, I could quite easily buy myself an R33GTR and probably stretch to an R34 GTR, but I don't want to. The Z32 is pretty much a retro enthusiast car only now, not a 'fast cheap bargain GT', although for £5k, it isn't exactly expensive. - Happy Birthday Harby300
