  1. No, you quoted me!!
  2. Then quote him next time!
  3. How the hell was anyone supposed to know what you were referring to!?
  4. I've seen that car in the flesh - it looks very odd despite being well fabricated. It's a great forum! Tons of info on there and some awesome people! I would say that as I am a moderator and personal friends with the club's owners. :)
  5. LOL, I've been to the little town where that thing is for sale - that there is real 'merica!
  6. Mine's staying on! lol. Doesn't look any better with it off and I wouldn't wanna risk getting ****ted by a blade if I had to go into the engine bay with it running. I'm stupid like that you see!
  7. The nicest sound they make is when they hit the bottom of the wheelie bin! :wack:  ;)
  8. That's because you have the 99-spec tweed which is much nicer than the earlier tweed which is terrible. Velour is easy on the eye and the hands - the early tweed is like hessian sacking!
  9. Tweed is awful, it's slightly less unappealing in Euro models, but on the Japanese models, it is so utterly peasantish!
  10. Hell no! That's why I gave you all my solid suspension joints! You made that appointment with the chiropractor yet!? :p
  11. Says the man with tweed seats!
  12. Takes one to know one Dave! :p
  13. Crikey! Ok....well, I'll give a bit of critique since it's been requested. It is abundantly clear that you and I have extremely different tastes, but from where I'm sat, I think it does the opposite of 'complete the interior' and adds clutter and makes the interior look really awkward. I appreciate it's not finished, but it clashes badly and isn't easy on the eye, as do the bodycolour vent surrounds/door handle trim etc - this was something people did in the late 90s/early 2000s when people would paint bits of interior plastic in their Saxos and Novas the same as the exterior - 'colour coding' of interior parts is something that, IMO, should have remained in that era. I'll hold back on comments on the steering wheel as it might turn ugly! (there's almost a pun there) Postive note : the velour is nice! :)
  14. Most 2 and 3 piece wheel manufactures typically suggest POA.
  15. And the fact that they're about £1000 a wheel - Si is not looking to spend that! lol
  16. I'm guessing you're not going to be after a nice forged wheel, so we'll look to the lower-mid end of the pack. TSW have started producing some nice wheels lately. Whilst they are budget wheels, these look nice. TSW Bristol TSW Ascent Rotiform NUE - these are kinda retro Rotiform TMB
  17. Yay!!!!! Glad you're getting rid of those old Team Dynamics Diablos! Whilst I'm saddened by your plight with the wheel-refurb guy, this is a good move IMO. Let me have a hunt and I'll report back. What's your budget?
  18. Yup! It is so comfy and looks so neat! :)
  19. Fitted the rest of my series 2 interior. Very happy with the result. It's turning into a clone of Joelyp's car! It'll soon have identical suspension to his and rear spoiler!
  20. Looking forward to it! Steve and I will start planning for it shortly!
  21. Personally, I'd try and get youself a set of the Bose speaker enclosures and fit speakers to that.
