That's because Austin is one of the most expensive tracks, Hungary, Russia and Chinese GPs are nowhere near as costly. Monaco GP is the most expensive so I'm led to believe.

Looking at attending next year's Hungarian Grand Prix (being part Hungarian is a bit of that reason)! Despite being to plenty of BTCC and WRC events, I've yet to go to any F1 races - whilst tickets for Hungary 2020 have yet to be released, I have a vague idea of what's involved at each circuit cost-wise however I have become a little confused with F1 Experience ticketing and regular ticketing. My budget is fairly high, so if I can gain paddock entrance passes that would be wonderful. F1 Experience website pricing seems quite a lot higher than what I've seen elsewhere and I've seen pit passes ranging from £500 to over £2k. F1 Experience is an official package and comes with all sorts of additional hospitality extras that I'm not too fussed about. Anyone who's been to watch the F1 in person, if anyone of you have got the best booking procedure or have any relevant information, that would be great

Southern end-of-season meet: Brooklands Museum - Saturday 12th of October
Andrew Cooke (F Robert Frise) will definitely be at that one. Is this ‘Bustival’ or a different one?

Peugeot Fake Exhaust Sound Produced by the Speakers [LOL]
Piped exhaust noise has been a thing for a number of years now, quite a few manufacturers use it however with varying degrees of success, the Peugeot system you experienced sounds hilarious!

Southern end-of-season meet: Brooklands Museum - Saturday 12th of October
After discussing with Howard, we thought an end of season meet for the southern/London lot and anyone else from further afield would be a great idea! This is a family day out too as we are suggesting that as part of the meet those who want to can visit the Brooklands Museum. I'm also going to see whether it would be possible for us to get access to the small amount of banked part of the circuit that's left, I can't promise anything although I do have an angle on it it by way of an old family friend who is a volunteer there, so tentatively might be able to pull that out of the hat. So for photo opportunities (and Joel with his drone), this could be rather interesting. Entrance into the Brooklands Museum is £16 for adults and £9 for children The Brooklands Museum isn't just a car museum, it's also an aviation museum (so for aviation nerds like Andrew, Joel and myself, it's heaven) with optional extras such as the Concorde Experience and other sections to it. The Sunbeam Cafe is there also to serve lunch/cakes/tea etc https://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/ Will hash out the finer details shortly. This is fairly tentative at the moment until I can gauge interest and see whether the day is suitable. Please add your names if you're wanting to go. 1: Funkysi (Simon)

Insurance
I have just done the rounds with these guys and they offered me a much more competitive quote - sadly, the European cover portion of the policy would be 3rd party only, if that's not something that concerns Z32 owners, then these guys are great. For me, it's not ideal as I take my Z abroad at least once a year. Just something for people to think about if they do use theirs overseas.

I would side with this statement. I would argue that at that boost level (16PSI+) on stock turbos, you're at or beyond their max duty cycle; a good map is not going to help if you go beyond that threshold. You're running close to 80% at 14PSi on 370cc injectors which is perfectly safe however when you're up around 16/17PSi, then you're reaching 100% duty which is not devastating in its self, however you have no margin for error, potentially heat issue and you have less control over the injector at 100% duty. Whilst you cannot really accurately control how much air your engine is consuming, you can meter the fuel very precisely, however at 100% duty cycle, you don't have that same level of control, it's effectively wide open. It's just too much of a gamble couple that with the reliability of older pintle style injectors' coils, it's just not worth running reliably on old low-flow injectors irrespective of how good the map is (a good map is key too, I’m in no way disputing that). Sure, fitting newer style injectors would solve the reliability issue, but it's prudent and I’d say a necessity to fit higher flow injectors (with good map) when hitting that sort of threshold if you want to maintain reliable engine and I can’t imagine anyone would argue with that. Almost everyone would rather run unstressed high flow injectors+map than running stressed low-flow injectors+map. There's also the argument that the lower the duty cycle the cooler the injectors run, the more they have to work, the hotter they get, the hotter they get the quicker they can fail. The most cost effective injector upgrade is the 740cc upgrade. 555s are now pinteless 615s which are fine, but there’s little cost difference. That’s where the context was lost I think.

Ok, I've re-read my first post, I can see how you took it out of context, but you still took it out of context. I wouldn't run what I run on stock injectors, no way in hell.

As for the rest of your nonsense, I did not 'beg' to come back on, where did this word come from? Someone suggested I re-apply after a change in the banning status of former members and didn't expect to get re-admitted, however I did. I did not spend my time slagging the 'club' off, merely a few of the old committee who have now since gone.

No, yet again and I'll state, you read my first post out of context which is where all this merry bullshit has come from. I have not said anywhere that he NEEDS to fit those particular injectors - I have suggested that fitting them and putting the boost up to 17PSi would give you noticeably more gains. You then took that completely out of context and used it as a stage for your own tirade against me dredging up the past. Why are you going down this route?

Wow, you bring that up too. Big man huh. Yes, I was a shite in my 20s and early 30s, I'll freely admit that, but if you want to keep digging in the past.... I think you'll find I was banned nearly a decade ago. Shame, the old Stephen was a good laugh and was great fun to have on the forum.

Pedantic? Oh the irony Stephen! I don't know quite what you've turned into since you had a child, you used to be a blast on here. Now all you do is come on here and bitch at Jeff. The fact of the matter is, that 370cc injectors are at their max duty cycle at around 15-16PSi on stock turbos, no changing of fuel maps is going to either increase their longevity/reliability or flow at those high duty levels. They're a big part of the weak point and it's well documented, why risk it, especially on old unreliable injectors. Yes, I will carry on running my unstressed injectors with plenty of margin for future upgrades that cost very little more than the 615cc ones and would be infinitely less stressed than running 25-30 year old unreliable pintle-style injectors at 15+PSi. You took my first post entirely out of context as you seem to do with a lot of people's on here lately it would seem. Jesus wept man, go eat pizza or something and wind your neck in.

Definitely a better clutch, your stock one will probably give out pretty quickly unless you're light with it. ;)

Yes, they're safe at this level with what he's currently running, there's absolutely nothing above suggesting otherwise? I ran this performance for years. As for your other point, I don't believe there's any implication, there's a suggestion and it wasn't for 16PSi either, it was for 17PSi. At 15PSi, you're approaching max duty cycle on 370cc injectors. 740s are a great future-proof, they're also ethanol compliant and barely anymore than 615cc.

With the corresponding map, no.

If you replace the injectors for 740cc NISMO, you’ll be able to crank up the boost to around 17PSi which utterly transforms the car, more noticeable than the jump from stock boost to 1 bar. Jimmer is the only person I’ll have work on my car’s mechanicals - been using him for nigh on 15 years. :)
