  1. Mine will be stretched as well, just not a one peice.
  2. Ok, so after seeing Legrath's interior last week, I've kinda decided to buy the same kit, although won't be until it's had a trip to SouthWestZed for some TLC and a few bits of paintwork. Now, the door cards I want to look like they've been properly made for the card rather than stretched over. My old dear has made wedding dresses and loads of other garments and is quite skilled in needlecraft on the whole as she's retrimmed her own furniture, does fantastic crochet too. So, I've asked her to do my door cards. She's thinking about it, but that's only because she doesn't know how good she is (ie, she thought she didn't do well in her university degree....and got a 1st). Anyway, I am going to get the door card panels made in about 5 or 6 different sections, all double stitched with black thread. So it should look as leather intended rather than stretched leather which can sometimes look like vynil. Will continue the theme across the rest of the interior panel work. I'm hoping it's going to work, it's going to cost me very little and as far as needlework is concerned, this is a walk in the park for her. Has anyone else got double stitched and paneled door cards/under dash and consol sections? Interested to see what people have done. Ta
  3. Nope. My carpet looks practically brand new. :)
  4. Whilst it's not my cup of tea styling wise, it does look like a lot of time and effort has been poured into that car. :duffer: ....and [tim nice but dim]Karl's a bloody good bloke[/tim nice but dim] :D
  5. "Fast and the Furious" is what's to blame for some of the travestys we see on our roads today. They have "Pokémon" to blame for creations like this.
  6. Not a tailgate skin, but spoilerless. With standard lights
  7. Found this on another forum, its only in Oz atm but with the UK car market being as it is shouldn't be long before it hits our shores, apparently its even better for our environment..... (sorry if this is a repost) Shell Optimax Extreme is a new flagship 100 octane fuel successfully formulated with 5% ethanol. This creates a new "super premium" petrol category for the Australian market place. Ethanol is a renewable non-fossil fuel. It is a cleaner burning component that helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Through the formulation with ethanol, Shell Optimax Extreme has a substantially lower sulphur and benzene content than other Shell premium fuels. It is formulated to deliver more engine responsiveness, sharper acceleration and enhanced power in many modern and high performance vehicles. It also has the same engine cleaning qualities as Shell Optimax. The new fuel has been positively tested in Shell's global laboratory in the UK and in Australia by industry experts including the motorsport icon, Dick Johnson. Major car manufacturers in Australia have recently endorsed the use of up to 10% ethanol blended fuel in their new vehicles. Chairman of Shell Companies in Australia, Tim Warren, says, "Shell is committed to ensuring its fuel technology keeps pace with the engine technology being developed by car manufacturers round the world. Shell Optimax Extreme will take fuel technology within the Australian marketplace to a whole new level. It is our first fuel in Australia scientifically formulated with ethanol." Shell Optimax Extreme complements Shell's comprehensive suite of motor fuels, which includes regular Shell unleaded petrol and Shell Optimax. Any car that can use ethanol-blended fuel can use Shell Optimax Extreme. The new fuel will be manufactured at Shell's Geelong refinery and is the first significant advance in unleaded fuel technology since the introduction of Shell Optimax in 1999. 8. Still got no chance. I earn sod all at the moment.
  9. Why? Draining your fluid is not going to do anything. It's not being used. The oil is not breaking down nor is the coolant.
  10. It's got more chance of corroding being exposed to the atmosphere than with a good 50/50 coolant.....if that's what you're talking about.
  11. Rear 3/4s look totally out of proportion. Other than that it looks ok. Not keen on these new type of super car though on the whole. Reminds me a bit of the Zonda for some reason which is pretty ugly.

Sounds like a 'krooze', so not really pal. Well, not for me anyway. Little bit cold to be hanging around in Asda carpark anyway.
  17. Well, I can't even get a mortgage for any house. Offers are just pathetic. Getting me ****ing depressed now.
  18. I do kinda agree with gavo....although there are ways to saying things. At the end of the day, it's all personal taste. Like I said, with my taste, I shan't be adorning it with spinners, stickers up the doors, meshed bumpers and what have you.
  19. Who? :wack:
  20. The only things (and again, this is down to personal preference) that I'd consider fitting to my own zed would either be OEM 99 spec gear or Stillen stuff. IMHO Stillen skirts and bumper extensions are so subtle, they just add a bit of depth to the zed. Infact the only replacement nose cone I like is the Stillen, I find all the others look like they've been designed by year 12 CDT students. I am considering getting a 99spec rear spoiler, but that's only if I get the Stillen skirts, and bumper extensions. But with those, I'd have to change the rims accordingly to match the deeper look it would give.
  21. Agree with Legrath. The Zed looks good almost as nature intended. It's all personal preference at the end of the day but I like the smooth uncluttered original lines of the zed. It's what makes the car IMHO
  22. How the feck does a car get into that state then?
  23. Bring loads of porn back Karl!! :duffer:
  24. Joseph and his technicolour chunk coat maybe? ;)
  25. EDIT....just read that it isn't....just a really poor respray.
