  1. YUK to the highest order. Kits are around £2,500 or something like that. Cost of a glorious set of spilt rims which add far more to the car's overall appearance.
  2. Happy 26th biatch....sorry I couldn't make it down to your pissup last night, didn't get back from Heathrow until gone midnight. Hope you had a goodun! :duffer:
  3. SWB + Wide-arch would only look good with Stosek IMHO.
  4. I've pushed an AA battery up a girl's arse before, but nothing in my car runs on anything other than the 12v ******* sat in the engine bay.
  5. 'Car' strangely enough. As gay as I might look, I don't name my cars anything. If I have to differentiate between it and my Astra, then it simply gets called the Zed. But that's only to save confusion.
  6. Dude, look at them.....they are not that nice. The one on the left has got a gut hanging out. Her stomach and love handles are bigger than her arse. The one on the right....it's probably just an unflattering pose. But she looks like a lad I used to go to school with called Douglas.
  7. One on the right looks like she's got a cock and balls anyway...what with that 'bum' bag matching the colour of her hot pants. Neither are that nice though TBH, but I'd still roger the both of them.

Deep dish all the way Si. That's the thing with Zeds, they've got lovely arch clearance. Something really deep dish at the arse gives incredible road presence.
  9. More cheese Gromit? ;)
  10. Looks best as a LWB IMHO. More balanced.
  11. The importer I bought my Zed from. He e-mailed them over to me. It's an Ex-Jap show car. Now registered over here.
  12. I posted pics of this up last week...here's the rest. I love it apart from the mirrors. Could be a little higher at the back, but that's just me being picky.
  13. I am talking to year of first registration in Japan, not UK. When importing cars, the importer tends to look at the original docs, not the registration docs as these get removed before vehicle leaves the country. IE, friend of a friend has a P reg Cavalier, now this wasn't manufactured in 1997, but 2 years previous, but 1997 was its year of first registration. Similarly, the first batch of 300ZXs may have been manufactured in late 1989, but not hit showrooms until early 1990 and thus registered accordingly. Once imported, you have as I've discribed earlier a re-register in the UK based on original manufacture dates, not the Japanise first registration date.
  14. Year of manufacture and year of registration are two different things. I'm pretty sure what Richard says is correct. What happens a lot of the times is that when cars are imported, they are re-registered using the year of manufacture date, not the year of first registration.
  15. Early bumper with Stillen extension....(my favourite)...plus, the Stillen grille is the only aftermarket grille that looks nice imho. 99spec
  16. ...I prefer the standard early bumpers with the Stillen extensions TBH.
  17. 99spec looks best. Scarab is ok on some cars, but it's fibreglass, awful stuff. Poor fit, poor longevity. Agree with Legrath, car needs skirts for sure with a Scarab bumper and deep dish rims. At that point it starts to become rather nice.
  18. Looks nice....your driver's side indication is hanging off a bit though.;)
  19. That's because you stretched it! LOL. Right in the corners where the angles are, the material just wont stretch. Best off making up precut sections.
  20. It's either that or I go grey/cream alcantara centres and cards.

That was lucky! One reason why I don't use the zed at this time of the year.
