Perhaps it's one of IndianZX's friends. :rofl: On a more serious note, I've seen a 2.0 Nova Turbo wiping the floor with a Supra TT Now I know most people on here hate the Nova and would claim that the Supra owner didn't know how to drive. But fit a set of coilovers to one and they can really be thrown round a track like nothing else and if you have anything like 200bhp in something that size, it'll be a tough match. So maybe some people should care as they may just get a little bit embarrased by one. If I was into taking my Zed on a track, I'd not try and race a stripped out 2.0 Nova Turbo or anything within that remit. as it would most probably hand my ass to me on a plate.

Not sure about all this insurance on imports/UK cars. I'm 27, 6 points, paying £500 fully comp on a TT Manual import (unlimted mileage). I seriously doubt I'd get a UK car any cheaper. I'd sooner have a JDM car. As has been said, the bodies on them tend to be far better. Have seen some shocking rotten and scabby looking UK models. Tidy ones are few and far between. Auto was never even a consideration when looking for a Zed. I'd have bought a Senator if I wanted something relaxing and smooth to drive.

I love the whole smooth uncluttered look of the front of the Zed. Looks so much nicer and neater with OE panel. It's part of what gives the Zed its nice clean uncluttered lines. :)

You're probably going to be able to guess my response. So I'll leave it anyway. ;) I think it's absolutely vile. Looks like it's been cut out of cardboard and used as a year 7 Technology project. OE headlight panels are the nicest IMHO.

I know, but everyone's ripping the piss out of it. It was at one time up there with the greats such as the Audi Quattro. The 6R4 (the last models made, earler versions had 250) came out with 400bhp...not bad for a car that wasn't even turbocharged. Also, as the name would suggest, it has 4wd. Could quite easily outhandle and outperform almost every Zed in the country...so you can see why some people would prefer it. ;)

You obviously don't know anything about the car I take it. The bodywork is standard. It's a purebred rally car, same as the RS200 was. It's more purpose build and hardcore than any Clio V6. It's certainly not attractive, although I think it looks pretty mean. I'd rather have Zed though, but you can't really take the piss out of a car that was as impressive in its day as Evos and Scoobys are today in the rally world.

As much as you wouldn't pay it and neither would I, the car is very rare and quite collectable....more so (dare I say it...?) than a DB?

LOL @ those photoshops! :rofl: The 205 pictured is not that bad. I've seen far far worse. This for instance used to be a car local to myself and whilst I went shopping one afternoon, I spotted it and took some pics. It's dreadful. I stuck it up on Barryboys, they seemed to like it.

Totally agree with AndyP's comments. The 6R4 is a legend and was from an era when rallying was at its best. I'd not pay that for it, but you can't really shun a car like that. The V6 engine in the 6R4 was the basis for the unit in the XJ220.

How strange. No way could a car mount a curb on a level peice of ground if it was stopped unless something pushed it. The carpark is level though...?

Tell him to STFU and get his insurance to pay up. He's come in too fast or drove away in first instead of reverse to get over the curb.

Gutted. *****cks the handbrake failed, the car by the looks of it had to drove over a curb to get onto the verge.

It's not caused a problem as of yet, but I got my Zed out this weekend and noticed than the lick doesn't stop turning at the unlock position. It'll click as if something is broken and then almost continue to turn. I daren't push it any further incase it breaks, but it still locks and unlocks ok. Any ideas? Is there some kind of clip behind it that breaks? Ta
