  1. Seen that up on Barryboys. UTTER shite. Loving the scissor modded arches!
  2. Who did you actually buy the engine from? Was it the person who's selling this car??? Maybe I have the wrong end of the stick.
  3. The main part of the caliper, yes! LOL, but the lettering is painted from the factory. Mine is a lovely battleship grey now. But the lettery has faided a bit.
  4. When I wrote the original post it wasn't! LOL...because APPARENTLY, I'm a whore! ;)
  5. I'm 2,000 posts away from that figure....
  6. Right then, slowly cleaning up all the underneath. Have managed to restore the factory finish on the rear calipers. Just the fronts to do, these will take a bit more work I think, but they are in nice condition anyway. What I want to know is, what colour should the NISSAN lettering be on the sides of the calipers? Is it white or a bright silver? Going to get some Humbrol Enamel paint and an ultra fine brush and will redo the lettering so that it looks mint.
  7. Yeah, they are the ones. Except mine would be a single line, not 2 lines and no border. :D
  8. OR, I might get a yank plate for it when I go to California next month....or would that look cheesey on a RHD car?
  9. Nice for shows anyway....besides, if you have a nice short private plate like mine, it almost looks like a GBG plate anyway, so at a glance, would appear normal....
  10. I know not strictly legal, but I might get some of those old style plates - black with white/silver lettering as per pre-1973 reg cars. Just wondering if anyone has them....I do remember seeing a Zed on here with the old style rear plate.
  11. 'Should' be there. I'm off to the States the following weekend, so providing I'm not having to cover for someone, I'll make my presence known.
  12. Must say, very very impressive for what it is. Big thing, althought slightly smaller than the Galaxy that it replaces. It's a bit bigger than the Zafira. I drove the 2.0DCt Couldn't really fault it generally, few small build quality issues, but generally, very very good and nice and solid. The ST version should be a cracker.
  13. Never heard of red antifreeze.
  14. What do your colleagues consist of? Age? Sex? Interests?
  15. No way's that bayside blue. Looks like solid light blue....aka disability blue.
  16. Old news! It's been back on the road nearly a month now and it's running very very well.
  17. Mmmmm, I got 4 wheels in my Zed when doing the swap over from my old wheels and I dunno, but I couldn't even get a dwarf in there. Mind you, I did have a tyre in there in addition. But the wheels were on every seat. Good luck though.
  18. So Dave, you going to try and get some 99spec skirts?
  19. Christ, doesn't time fly! Seems like I've been on here forever! :duffer:
  20. Any car post 01st January 1997 requires a model report, as there is no model report currently available for the 300 ZX and unlikely to be for the foreseeable future post 97 ZX's will not be able to registered in the UK... before the current ESVA rules kicked in last year yes it was possible to import a 1999 spec ZX but not now.
  21. Even if you find one you'll not be able to legally drive it over here. SVA laws for cars under 10 years old and got very strict and it will not pass something like this anymore. They fall short of the emissions regs by quite a long way. You'll be able to get a 96 model year over here, but nothing any newer.
  22. Don't see anyone getting personal. :D Not seen that report before. Top work! :D
  23. Some more pics this is custom made subframe which is unboltable. Not fully welded up, that'll happen when the engine's taken out again.
  24. Where did he take it?
