never been so fu#@$ing angry!!!!
There is no rust, my rear foam spoiler has started to rot and the rain caused some manly water to run down and settle on the bent part of the panel. The zed was parked outside my house and wa hit by a Saab 93 maybe?? Fairly new car 56 plate iirc

Just to let you know guys they're not writing off my car, sorry if I made it sound like that, they're saying the only damage caused by the accident is the damage to the bumper. Not the reverse panel or the panel between the bumper and the lights. This is where the dispute it at.

never been so fu#@$ing angry!!!!
Spot on! That's word for word what I've been told, the complaints procedure has been issued and I'm waiting for a reply. This all seems a bit ridiculous for the sake of £300. They've offered £400 and I'm asking for £700. I hear this is quite a common theme with admiral. - - - Updated - - - As for pics I'll upload some now

I was offered a courtesy car (1.2 corsa or a 1.2 fiesta) but this was before they said they wouldn't repair all the damage. I always tend to get the extras with insurance but I will certainly not be re insuring with Admiral, cheap prices cheap service. I'm paying silly money compared to most insuring the zed. The cost of the repairs isn't anywhere near the cost of my insurance policy, not that it should matter.

I've sent them photos of the car taken 10days before the accident. They have offered me a payout of £400 which I've said isn't enough. That wouldn't cover the work and sure as hell wouldn't get me a courtesy car while the work is being done. I'll bear in mind heritage Ian thanks for that. Will have a nose on their website now. Hope all is well. Saw your car at lees the other day  tidy!

Well here's an update that I promised, the assessor came out. Said my damage was unrelated and it was already there. They have offered me £400 excluding VAT. I've said that's not enough and that I would like a review from you up line management. Today they call me back and say they're sticking to the £400 and the only way they will review it again is if I pay for another independent assessor to come out and send them his findings. That's going to cost me more money!! It's not like I'm filing a claim for thousands of pounds and claiming whiplash injuries. I said I'd settle for £800 and that I would get the repairs done in my own time using the money. Still a big fat no from the big fat insurance company. Anyways I've called the insurance ombudsman now and filed a complaint and they're getting in touch with admiral for me. To say I'm fuming is an understatement. I will not be getting re insured with such a fooking poor company, because as far as I'm concerned being insured with admiral is the same as not being insured at all. JOKERS!!!

Lil Stevie sent me a din shelf (not a zed one) and I purchased myself a CD player to replace my one that broke.... Below my old cd play was one of those BOSE speaker things which I planned to replace with the din shelf. Here's the photos :-) not bad for just over and hours work. As it was before (not a good pic but it's the only one I could find lol Removed the CD player and speaker The DIN shelf Had no holes for the brackets (I only had a screwdriver set to do this job  ) Holes, made using a tiny flat bladed screwdriver and then made bigger with a screw :) Offering up the brackets Finished product.

xmas what a total load of rubish
I love it. I enjoy spoiling the mrs and all the family during Christmas. I try to give back at this time of the year, I am always being helped for the other 364 days of the year so to see them all smiling is something I'm more than happy to spend all my money on(keeping a sneaky few quid aside for another service on the zed though  ) I completely agree having Xmas rammed in your face in October is ludicrous, I work in retail so I have it worse than most. But it's the way the country is during this time. Advertising marketing and just pure business. But without this time of year and all the money generated there would be a lot less jobs flying around :) think positive and try to enjoy it.
