I would go with a company like Heritage next time buddy, you can send them photos each year to prove the condition of yr car and get an agreed valuation certificate so if the car gets written off theres no argument as to the value. You have recent pics from the guy you bought it off, i would write a letter to admiral enclose the photos showing no damage and tell them you are prepared to go to Watchdog, ombudsman etc. They may cave if they see you are serious. Also tell them you have sent a copy to your solicitor and are taking legal advice too.

I have used a silicone based gel on my corvette t tops before, you just have to be careful whats compatible. I also have some silicone stuff i use to seal the orings on my underwater camera gear that might work Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I have it on good authority that gram nut oil smeared on the seals make add them swell a little and seal better, not tried it myself though.
