  1. You lose so much selling it, you might as well get it stored or looked after by someone while you travel. Are you working travelling? or just enjoying the saved cash? I love travelling but I'm a bit sick of living out of bags now. If I ever do any more I think it'll be going somewhere and working for 6mths so I don't have to rough it again. Saying that though, the more settled we get here with animals and stuff the harder it will be to do any travelling so maybe its time I relaxed a bit :-)
  2. Bloody ell thats much cheaper. Halfrauds was £50 ish for most of them. I'm still not sure which I need. 068 seems to be the one for j-spec?? Dave
  3. Could someone tell me what battery I have to look for; cold crank power and all that malarkey? I need a new one, halfrauds is the easiest place. Dave
  4. I've got two sets of wheels with tyres waiting in the garage :-)
  5. happy birthday mate, have a good one!
  6. Although, saying that, Strangley cornwall has one of the fastest internet infrastructures due to its third world status in the EU!! you can get 8mg+ in many areas. Shame no one can afford it. Dave
  7. The cornish havnt' got the internet Jon, we only got TV last week for gods sake!!
  8. Lol, thats a horse riding arse (ehem. if I might say so myself :mac1: ). Guaranteed to stay pert till old age .
  9. Cool, I'd like to see the phots. From what I've read and discussed with people Too's are the hardest of the lot to look after and also the noisiest. The Macaws seem very loud as well but I think I'd be better with something a bit bigger like a Macaw. The other choices we've been looking at are greys which seem a little too fragile for my man-handling and also eclectus's which seem very good but arn't as cuddly as the macawd. Dave
  10. I'm going to get a long lead and tie it to the t-top haha
  11. Been watching this video again, its great mate! I'd really like to do this, but its so expensive doing track days and things like it in a zed, with the price of tyres and brakes and so on. Maybe it would be cheaper just to get another car especially for it. I'm sorely tempted though. I love the bit in the vid where he drifts the s bend and keeps it going into the long corner. ohh maybe I'll have a go....
  12. We havn't got one yet as there are so many stories like Nitros!! They need so much personal attention to keep them happy and not like little pyschos! The macaw in the picture above is an awesome beast but its just like a 4yr old whos eaten too many smarties. Always up to no good, you can't keep them in their cages and ignore them or they just go mental. We don't want to spend £1500 on one and then realise we've made a mistake. The money isn't so much the issue (apart from the fact that we don't have it!), its whether the bird would be happy. They're freakishly intelligent and I couldn't bear it if it wasn't happy. Dave
  13. he could have bought another ferrari for that!!
  14. Nothing to do with Zeds but as lots of people like their pets I'd thought I'd post. We've always loved our animals and have been looking at getting a (or multiple) parrots. Been using http://www.parrotlinks.com/forum2/default.asp forum and chatting to lots of people. Its a big commitment (50 years plus and need lots of attention). Does anyone keep any parrots here? Heres some phots from when we went to visit some owners from the parrot forum yesterday. Dave
  15. That sounds like a good cross apache? I always find labs a bit too soft and sloopy but crossed with a border collie sounds really good. Dave
  16. Why not just change the wording in the thread to say 'south central region' and not 'south central forum' or whatever? its giving the wrong impression that you want a seperate FORUM when all you asking for (quite reasonably) is a REGION in the events and meetings section??? (at least i hope!)Dave
  17. I met someone who owned a zed in Hayle (its where my family live). I'm not sure but I think it might have been silver? Didn't see it out very much. Nice bloke though, I mentioned the forum but havn't seen him on here. Dave
  18. Hope you're baby doesn't have any legs!! good on you for making the effort. No point in selling a Zed these days, especially if its a good one.Dave
  19. Scamming feckers should be shot.
  20. just take the cover off and boot it up, then you'll see if the fan is working. There's no need to put all the screws back in. My cover just sits on top as I'm always changing harddrives.
  21. Right if theres this many people in Cornwall who can afford to run a Zed then I'm moving back! Only moved away for the money!
  22. I can't even remember how much they were. I was quite chuffed when I got it this morning. Its sh*t quality, no doubt about that, very home made looking. The pictures look good though. Shame my car was last month as well!!
  23. I'm buying two parrots soon, just thought I'd mention it :-) Dave
  24. That looks like a joke, but one of my favourite ever car vids is that one of the pug doing pikes peak, truly awesome. Dave
  25. Slam his head under the bonnet until he looks at it properly / stops being a lying f*ckwit.
