Here you go. Didn't take many due to the rain, that one with the red 300zx looks nice though! Dave

FAO Funky 'Loadsa beans please,i said LOADSA BEANS!' Si
Had the Bazdaman meet today and met up with FunkySi, good to see you mate. Unfortunately it was tipping it down but there were still plenty of people in the pub along with Barry's (RIP) parents who were lovely people. Did some tyre kicking once the rain stopped. Shame I couldn't show the Zed in action for Si ,it was jumping like a bloody kangaroo with all the rain in the filter! was quite shocked as its the first time I've drove in really bad rain. Chopper (now the owner of a rather tasty drift spec r32) was saying how he blew 3 afm's that way. Anyway Si I came home and had beans for tea. Dave ps Funky Si likes his beans and got quite irate when he didn't get enough of them, went up and duffed up the waiter till he was given some more!

Most common MOT failure points?
I remember when I bought my first one I tested another one in Bournemouth, a red SWB. The back would suddenly jump when at speed. Not confidence giving (nor was the filthy coolant stains over the bonnet cover! Dave

My new R34 brakes
Havn't fitted them yet, buried them ten foot down in the garden, you'll never find them hahahahahahahahaha................

My new R34 brakes
In the drive, oh and you'll need one of those curly locking nut things................. oh and ten men to take me down!lol :nana2: :hyper: :mac1: I know people don't always reveal the prices they got but I thought it would be handy for others who are looking. Thanks to Howsie off the skyline forum for coming down in price a bit (payed for my optimax driving all afternoon to pick them up). He had a bad burn to his leg and was obviously in a lot of pain, he had to keep lying down to let the blood flow! ouch. He said he'd have a look on here as he likes the Zeds and might get one. Nice bloke (I would say that mind!). Dave

My new R34 brakes
Sounds like fun, where can I get those pads then............
-
My new R34 brakes
Got them at last! 750 smackers, knocked down from 800. Figured it was worth it as they have only done 19k and the pads and discs have life in them for a bit.

My new R34 brakes
Think these are a normal r34 ,i thought all the r34 ones needed drilling. I'll let you know when i start ripping things to bits!

2 Red Zeds in Bristol
Ha! Hi!

Bristol - Marcus
funny you say that as the Zed was really sleepy after being stuck in that traffic jam for so long. Are you going to the Bazdaman meet (tomorrow? need to check). Still interested in the RAC cover if its there. Dave

Hi Marcus (mrogers?). Good to meet you there mate. I'd just been stuck in a traffic jam from hell. Took at least an hour to go the 3 miles from yate! Then when I saw you ,me and the missus were trying to work out where we were going! so we were all over the road. Dave

Changed my user Name
Sh*t, next to a naval base, I completely missed that one! I'm sure there's more than an ounce of truth in that as well! Pass the soap sailor! Apollo32: I was born in St Ives, I'd love to live there again, shame the only work is the tourism industry. I swam from Hayle to St Ives a month or two back. Great swim. Dave

My new R34 brakes
Just thought I'd stick a phot on here. Was quite shocked at actually how big a piece of engineering they are. They are from a 19k r34, the seller had just upgraded to a shiny expensive stoptech kit. Mind you he was thinking of selling and buying a Zed to finance a house extension (I'd rather sleep in a tent!). If anyone notices anything unusual or missing please let me know, I already need to order the mounting bolts and drill the holes on the car bigger. Dave :hyper: :nana2:
