Pmsl, this is a great thread! hope the Supra boys take it for what it is. IMO the old 'stock supra is faster than stock Zed....' argument is a waste of time anyway. A Zed running 400 hp is going to be faster than a Supra running 300. A Supra running 500 is going to be faster than the Zed,and so on. It just comes down to how much money you have to chuck around. Maybe you can do more on a Supra for less but its still big cash. Supras age better under the engine bay but fifty percent of Supras and Zeds have rebuilt/modded engines anyhow, so thats irrelevent. Nobody can argue that the Supra looks as good as the Zed. End of the day we all drive the cars for similar reasons; an affordable supercar. I wave at all jap performance cars, although the majority of non-Zeds don't wave back so I just look a fool. But I feel warm inside knowing I'm spreading the love, AND DRIVING THE BEST CAR!!!!!

An exact reading is definately a concern if you have boost jets on the car. I killed my first Zed because of a bad stock boost gauge and not knowing any better. Also boost jets are a poor way to increase boost anyhow as apart from inaccuracies and poor control of boost they also suffer spiking of boost which can cause detting if extreme. Strongly recommend some kind of electronic boost controller if you want to up the boost safely. If you don't have at least an aftermarket boost gauge then take the boost jets off (I've got a greddy boost gauge for sale as new :x: if you are interested!!). Dave

IMO Sony's are the most desirable laptops out there. The one I have now is excellent. You can get better spec from others and also cheaper, but the quality of design and build is much better than anything else. As an all round package they are unbeatable (IMO of course!). Dave

I've got a greddy oil plate adapter from Chris but he can't get me a greddy 52mm oil pressure gauge to fit it and apparently other gauges sensors wont fit into it. What are the alternatives? Is the stock sender a cause of inaccuracies on the stock gauge, and if not can you fit something to that or maybe replace the sender. Any help would be appreciated as the job has been half done now for 4mths and I'm P*ssed off trying to sort it. Plus the garage is waiting too. Dave

Don't know if its been on before but check this out: http://www.e-database.co.uk Did you know that every time your car goes past a speed camera, even 1mph over the set limit it is registered and put on a database? you get a ticket only if you are way over the limit or, (this is the bit that I didn't know) if you receive over 20 near misses, you will be classed as a serial offender and get a ticket the next time you go just over the limit. This is why you hear of people being done for 34mph in a 30 limit area whilst others doing 39 do not. Following the Governments freedom of information act you can now get access to speed camera offences registered in the last 12 months. You can check what has been registered against your vehicle at the following address http://www.e-database.co.uk/ You will be asked for a password but just click on the "need a password" Link and you will be given one for future use. If there is any data on your vehicle you can click on the camera window to see a copy of the photograph. Dave
