  1. !!!!!! I was looking for the 'this site is a parody' quote!!
  2. It's my only car at the moment since I killed my escorts engine. I don't have to drive into work everyday though. I don't think I'd use it if I was driving 10 miles in traffic jams everyday. Probably going to get a thrasharound for the daily driving. I'd always try to use the Zed if I'm doing long distance though. Dave
  3. What a slut! And I thought I was the only one, someone special! Now I've heard it all. Dave
  4. Feckers! just didn't want my name advertised everywhere that's all.
  5. This is me! as if you didn't already know. Dave

Now there's an idea, need to talk to the missus! Dave

Glad we're driving, the kidneys wouldn't forgive me for having to uphold the Royal Marines name against a couple of Matelots! Dave

off subject!- Meant to ask, did you sell your skyline? I really liked the look of it. Dave
  9. Wow, that looks just a little impressive! 1000cc injectors so bound to be good fuel economy!
  10. WEELLLLL--I want one!!!
  11. Couldn't see the z32 in the application chart there, only the z31 and the z32 non-turbo. Maybe they are the same , or maybe I'm blind?
  12. lol, sounds about right! Just as long as they spent as much on research and design as they did on funky packaging.
  13. hmm, my door always seemed a bit rattley, maybe this will help. Dave
  14. I wouldn't be sending them any cash!
  15. Nope, its a low overhead, non-routable protocol (ie it cant talk outside of the local area). Therefore very effective speed wise on a local area network. Not that anyone would use it though as Lans without some kind of outside connection are so rare these days, and theres no point in running more than one protocol when tcp/ip will do everything anyhow. Dave
  16. Good post, great to see the technical stuff on the forum, very worthwhile IMO. Dave
  17. Glad I'm not the only computer spotter on here!!
  18. Perfuel™ Aimed especially at lady drivers of Beetle Convertibles, Mazda MX5s and other girlie cars, Perfuel™ is an attractively fragrant biofuel made from processed rose petals. The advantages of Perfuel™ are twofold - rose petals are a renewable energy source, and additionally it is the only fuel that perfumes the environment with a delicate aroma as you drive. Sold in 15ml bottles at £300 per bottle.
  19. That link is great Andy. I think I'm going to do similar. I don't want a dashboard that looks like something out of back to the future with wires and all everywhere so I'm going to get a proper plug that I can fit somewhere, maybe the centre console. Then I can use the cable I have which is a male headphone type on each end to plug the phone into the car. Dave
  20. Thanks Llew, I'll get the model number or pull it out later and have a look. Found your link Andy : http://www.mattgilbert.net/carstereoauxinput/ in case anyone else interested.Dave
  21. Would rather use a cable than the rf thing as the hiss always really annoys me.
  22. Havn't got an aux on the front, do they often have them on the back? sorry to be a bit bone, but never really touched car stereos. Dave
