  1. Oh my f0cking god! Thats the worst slam I've ever seen. This vid shows a bit more of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2v3Yoj3HRY&mode=related&search= I can't believe he walked away, that was horrific.
  2. Eek, thats not what I want to hear! I've never had a broken bone and don't want to start now lol! I hope its not something like that!
  3. I had some really heavy internal bruising and kept falling on it whilst skateboarding (!) I think it has absessed under the skin. Its gone down a little bit today. Freaked me out as I had something similar happen whilst I was in the Marines and I ignored it then and ended up on a drip for three or four days.
  4. I had a drifting day all payed up in Aldershot today but someone up above didn't want it to happen. This happened to my elbow last night: Then my parrot flew off whilst I was sorting my spare rims out last night. I was up at 0430hrs this morning first light looking for her and have spent the last 11hrs under a tree waiting for her to come down. So p*ssed off! Anyone up for Roast Macaw for lunch?
  5. Nice one! Congratulations :) Bet it felt great.
  6. I bet there wouldn't be 50% of people spent over 5k on a Zed now lol!

Haha, that photo cracks me up! you can tell I've been stuck in the books and doing too many hours for a couple of years. Nice garlic bread though mmmm
  8. I found this forum whilst browsing: http://www.nissanforums.com/z32-chassis-300zx/47003-90-300zxtt-boost-questions.html Here is a quote about why boost jets are bad news. They've always been a pet hate of mine as my first Zeds engine blew due to having jets that were setting the boost too high, combined with a dodgy boost gauge, resulting in several blown pistons. I've always known what they can spike, but never realised why. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote: Originally Posted by dragknt The last thing was for anyone that has a Profec B Spec-II...like what settings they use, and stuff. Thanks for your help...It'd be a -while- until I could afford the bigger IC's. :/ A friend of mine has a Neon SRT-4 that he has under a manual boost controller, and his stock gauge shows boosts of 14 or 15psi, spiking at 17. His ECU turns on the 'check engine light' every now and then for overboost. I think he's being an idiot for running it like that... I haven't ran against him, yet, but my goal is to bury him on the first run. =) -dragknt Manual boost controller are a waste of money and for the ill informed. What you described is a good example of what a manual BC does (very ineffecent) If it's a hot day he'll miss his target boost and on a cold day he'll over shoot causing detonation and boom the engine is dead. The electronic BC takes care of all that plus easy to dial in your boost from inside the car and you won't be getting spikes like the manual one as well.
  9. They are running higher boost than the stock (9.5psi?)
  10. Thats interesting. I wonder how quick it is to shift though?

B*gger, same day as Rotorstock! Will come along if I don't go to Rotorstock for any reason.
  12. Is this because of the sealing Andy?
  13. Woh! Thats a serious setup! Very impressive. I'd like to get a console when the new GT comes out. Never sure if its worth it for one game though! I'd rather get a nice computer to play FPS games.
  14. Good luck! Make sure they don't leave any tools in there! :mac1:
  15. Can't say I'm speechless. The leader of one of the most powerful and rich countries in the world gave gifts to the President of the most powerful country in the world that were all worth more than 140 quid! And having a frivolous holiday to that popular destination the 'middle east' (when his next job is Peace Envoy to the middle east and could have major implications on the future of the world). Having a couple of musicians to dinner over a term of 10yrs isn't exactly terrible. And the biggest travel expenses there are for a party of 10 people at £80k. £8k a person for a bunch of polititions running the country isn't much. The average holiday to Dubai would be several grand. Bit of a tabloid style 'make a story out of nothing' if you ask me?
  16. Probably part of the idle assembly. It maybe stalled (lost power steering) and then it jumped itself back again. You can buy the idle assemblies as a unit, its on the rear passenger side of the engine. They get full of gunk. Other possible causes are gunked up throttle bodies. They let a small amount of air through when the throttle is fully closed to keep the engine running, this hole gets gunked up. Easy clean with some brake cleaner.
  17. Just use some oil to do it :)
  18. Lol,I had to google the GMC Pacer, never heard of it before. Surprised you havn't got a picture of one :smw:
  19. Much the same I'd say? There's not much to it. Think about doing the prop bearing at the same time if it hasn't already been done. Also the rear crank seal.

Just took a look as I could do the same but its 70miles from me so a bit far because I need to revise for my exam as well. Soz.Dave

I'd be up for one mate, I like proper pub food thats not pre-packed! Can't do this weekend though because I need to revise for an exam and already have a drift day on saturday. Rotorstock is the next weekend as well which I'm hoping to get to. After that would be cool? I spend way to much time mouthing off boll*cks on here, need to be more sociable!
  22. Aww, Zeds have that affect on you.
  23. Yeah, tie it up and you'll be fine. Looks pretty smart. I used to have hair just like that what seems like many moons ago.
  24. Can't remember if this is a repost from the other day or not? Nice car though so I'll let me off :)
