started the car after doing a conversion pulled the yellow plug and set it at 650 put the plug back now set at 850 ish now just got to put the dash back on waiting for some parts to come back from groover to go on and stering wheel then go for m.o.t

all done runs with maf pluged on well happy

yea m8 you will fill dizzy and when you sweat the smell of fags is bad and you will be a grumpy git with every one and thing again that will pass sounds daft but the day seams longer too I put on 4 stone and went too a 18 neck

hi yea its the old one iv cleaned the plug when I replug the maf it just cut out took the plug off started high revs but ran on her own steam iv just seen how much thay are but I think needs must

ok repulled the plenum rechecked the hoses found 2 where air was going in fixed them still ran poor so pulled the maf plug off runs sweet as a nut do I need a new maf? cheers mark for the help and every one that sent messages to get me this far ted

hi mark iv removed the egr all together the petrol filter hose to the left to a little black thing laying flat one part goes down to the engine and the other part goes to the balance bar the 2nd line come from a 2nd black thing think it called a damper that stands up back towards the filter but goes to hard pipes and the small hose goes to the balance bar and the aav got a new gasket on

ok just checked petrol lines all ok checked plugs thay where wet cleaned them then checked for spark on the coil pack all fine pulled all plug off and cleaned them so the job I did with the car manual conversion, polished plenum on, new rocker gasket and sealant, new plenum gasket, that's it car ran ok before so turn the car over fine pump fine wants to start then dies looked at ecu got 5 long and 5 short blinks ted

hahaha it ant doing so well now ok ill look at the manual before I do anything

eerm going to say don't know is the regulator bigger than the damper just trying to think all I can do is change them over

yea if I pump it, it revs then it dies

hi bud that's pluged in may have to put more petrol in as I don't know how much is in there and its still up in the air got to be something simple

hi guys right iv done a manual coversion and put a polished plenum on car turns over fires up then dies checked plugs and petrol smell is there checked the coil pack plugs tpu plug and cleaned and the pump is working any one got any ideas will be handy ted

don't mined paying out but not $28.00 looks like freebay going to be the place to look

any one got the plastic part of the drivers door key lock as the key just turns for sale did see in one thread you can get metal ones but cant fined it so if someone got one for sale wood be handy cheers ted

gearbox back in now and bolted down don't want to do that a 3rd time that's hard work

took the gearbox back out again as when I put the flywheel and clutch in it was for a n/a and the gearbox is a tt so now a pig of a job to line the spigot hole up and got my side skirts and infills today 1st job in the morning Halfords to get 2lt of kh2 paint and laq then gearbox to put on

iv used it in my engine couldn't tell the difference bit like the old redx you used in the old days you can use it in the gearbox and diff too think it was 30-35.00 a bottle
