Hi Gents, I need to replace the rear track rod ends. is there a kit out there that removes these ? My Hicas has been locked out with a brace so no need for a true track rod end. It failed on this Nearside Rear Outer Suspension arm has excessive play in a track control arm inner bush bush in hub Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Adam

He said to me he took it apart , inlet manifold etc looking for the knock sensor , down in the V and never put it back together He bought it from a garage in camarthan in 2003 . I want to go and see it , definitely sounded genuine . He called it a forgotten project I told him to come on here and join the newbie section .

I don't think he will sell it to me , he spoke very fondly of it . He wants it recommissioned , New hoses belts etc etc and a clean bill of health , was 500+bhp when it was running

Has anybody else experienced the z as a magnet ? I've had 3 people in 2 weeks come up to me saying they own one of these. Each one has said they are sat in the garage and hasn't run in years. Met a guy today called Peter from Cardiff, who has 3.1 forged motor in his and has been sat in the garage since 2005 , he took it off the road because of a Knock sensor fault . The car sounds like it had a lot of mods done to it, I offered to buy it without seeing it ha ha . I've now pointed him in Jimmers direction as he wants it recommissioned and didn't know where to take it .

My insurance on anything front engine rwd was shocking when I lived there. Maybe that is putting everyone off. I agree look like a good buy.

Hi Guys, I have to two standard turbos for sale , removed from a H plate import manual. They worked fine before the engine was removed, boosted well and no smoke. In my opinion both could do with a re-build (shaft play) no marks on the housing and the blades look fine . (quite suprised they had shaft play to be honest) Could put up a short video if enough interest. I would like £80 each for them . They weigh a fair bit so could get shipped by a courier of your choice or collection from Cardiff. Thanks, Adam

I'm in Cardiff , up in thornhill. Be good to have a blast with some 300zx guys. I have quite a few spare twin turbo engine parts , sensors etc so if you get stuck and want to try something give me a shout.

Hi gents, hoping you guys can help me , I'm switching my 750cc sard injectors and 300 degree uprated fuel rail onto my spare engine. I'm fitting all new seals as I go along and would like to buy a set of the early type injector to plenum seals ( the lower seal ) ideally I want the part number because the guy at nissan didn't have clue what I was on about. I've found them on z1 motor sports website but I want to find a UK supplier . Cheers guys Adam

I've been reading the posts and adds on this car , seems like rusty sills spent a small fortune on it, think perhaps the new owner gave it too much stick and blew the head gasket and maybe a ring ... never mind , I have a low mileage motor I took out of my mates damaged car a few years back . I had it shipped back from 5 mile town in NI last week and currently in a depo in Cardiff ready for delivery Monday . The latest owners took off the the vented front panel and momo wheel , gutted I like both those bits !! Thinking of fitting some wide band lamda sensors whilst I'm at it and get it mapped for reliability. Can anyone personally recommend a mapping house with a rolling road in Bristol / Cardiff ? Thanks for the help guys . I would love a chat with rustysills if he's still on here ?

Thanks for that mate , i'm going to pull the motor today and start sorting the head gasket issue , compression check first . I will give those guys a once I've got it back together I'd love to speak to rusty dills about the map it's got to find out what sort of boost its running

It's got a head gasket issue so I'm going to pull the motorget it sorted and put a new cambelt/ water pump kit on it .then tackle the body work , it's solid apart from a bit on the sill . I'm used to rust , it's a Datsun at ❤️

The guy I bought it off fitted reconned turbo and a new hks recirculation valves , plugs oil etc I think he had it about 6 months and barely got to use it as he had apart for most of that . Sorted a few boost leaks today and it goes like a scalded cat !! My 350z isn't slow but this thing is awesome .
