  1. its gonna be a bitch to get it on the lift.... but from what i can tell it may be all straight, but as you can see in one picture there is a split in some structural panel join, so until it gets on the lift i'm not sure what the outcome is going to be. what i reckon is that if the car needs the engine out and to go on the jig, it may get written off because of labour etc... otherwise i can prob get a wing and some other parts from this lovely forum...
  2. i was doing no more than 30-35...there were two barriers joined together, it went through the middle section of the first barrier, then the wheel got dislodged where the 2 joined together.
  3. hi guys, i got some bad news. i was involved in an accident at 2am this morning; some pedestrians ran across the road and i swerved out of the way to avoid them, and i went into a roadside barrier. i had the car transported to a damage repair specialist i know of... to think the amount of money i spent on the car in the past year... and it may now get written off. atleast no one got hurt i guess... what can ya do eh...
  4. if you badly want 'nissan' pads, try these nismo ones at the bottom of the page http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php?dealer=5&car=74&middle=3&small=2

  6. the old shape clk 55 is an absolute bargain, my brother was offered a late one within the trade for 6k! it had no service history and 80k miles, but had 4 receipts for 5k worth of work done in the last year and apparently ran fine.
  7. hi mate, my water pump has a leak too, this i realised when i was fitting my brembos last week, so i figured while i'm at it, do the full 120k service! (although my car has only just gone over 50k miles...) why not eh? a lot of the front will be stripped away while doing the pump and then i wont have to worry about major servicing for years i hope.
  8. wonder what theyre doing together
