there are quite a few engine variants so performance probably differs a lot. i think they go from a 2.5 v6 to a 4.0 or 4.5 v8. not sure if you can get a tt v8 but it would be a bit of fun if you could!

i think they use some kind of solenoid/magnet to pop the dorr open enough for you to get you fingers in and do the rest your self. i've got a mini cooper that does this on the boot if you hold down unlock for 5 seconds - doesn't work all that well though. don't know if its the same but a lot of tvr's don't have door handles - they have a button under the wing mirror wich pops the door open.

ok, here goes..... using smw1's formula n * 2 + 5 * 50 + x - y written in proper algebra (no offense intended) 50(2n + 5) + (x - y) which also equates to 100n + 250 + (x - y) "x - y" always comes out at your age - 250 (try it) so therefore we are left with... 100n + 250 + age - 250 or.. 100n + age whatever you chose as n is the number of hundreds and your age is the number of units. simple when you know how... ste

i know, total pain in the ass but i got one the other day that i did think was quite good. it looked as though it was a message from someone i knew - i.e. it was from a recognised number stored in my phone. it said something like "i have had to go to london, dont ask - long story - and i need a favour. ring me asap on this number and ask for liz, she will put you on to me" then it gave an 0208 phone number. it looked a bit suspicious so i phoned the number back from my land line and got through to buckingham palace!!! unfortunately wasn't liz herself that answered - i got a recorded message saying that if i had just received a text message telling me to phone this number then it was a hoax! felt like a bit of a twat for falling for it but also found it slightly amusing.

has anyone seen the clarkson vid (stupid question?!) where he did a test for the fastest car over a standing mile? tvr cerbera, aston vanquish, dodge viper, 911 turbo, chateram and a lotus i think - at about 1/2 mile the tvr cerbera came from near the back of the pack and pi$$ed on everything else, it was pretty impressive!!!
