you might be right, it seems alterations will have to be made to hub so i imagine it will be a lot of work, i'm gona have a look to see if i can find a kit for it

i am just playing with the idea as i'm going to do something over the winter. i know the cost of rebuilding a zed engine with all the gear to reach around 550-600 bhp with uprated turbos and boost. now after reading many threads on the forum mentioning a v8 conversion i am tempted and was even thinking of getting a soarer as a doner but after a little research i found out its a nightmare to convert to a manual. which v8 do people usually use in a zed as a v8 and a big fook off turbo might be a more suitable option for myself

alot people would agree and do what i do and making your car sorn is a decision someone has made

theres plenty of precautions to take, a good wash wax and polish and maybe a car cover, i disconnect battery but i know of people who change battery over once a week. i like to turn the car over every couple of weeks and bring it up to temperature and open turbos up also. also keep a regular check on the tyres as they lose pressure when stood still

well due to the scamming that went on with imports and mileage years ago i probably can never be 100% sure its correct but i have all mot documents and receipts since it has being in the country and that seems to all check out

silly thread but i i found out today that the mileage on my car is not in mph but km so that means the chasis has only done 32000 km so thats under 20000 miles its done. how many other zeds is there on the uk roads that are known with lower mileage, surely cant be many

if you dont need the back seats get yourself a sports car ie swb, slicktop and convertible otherwise you could always get a family saloon lwb
