was it empty when you put £30 in as £30 will cover the reserve tank so to speak and barely lift the needle if it was empty?? failing that you may have a sticky needle on the guage.

Your wallet lol £15 will barely get it off the red mate, ideally you dont want to let it get that low as all you will do is kick up the crap out of the bottom of the tank. put more fuel in fella and see it rise and your wallet cry :)

trouble is if you put it on correctly and used a very thin smear of silcone sealant aswell you may find it just wont come off in one piece? If its in good condition then you should be able to get away with it, just dont be suprised if it does cause problems at a later date. for the sake of £20 and next day delivery id get a new one. good luck. Well the cars nearly stripped now and not sure what to do with the shell? Its a 91 SWB in Black was only repainted in 2010 is it worth selling on or just weigh it in? its got no bumpers boot or wings, may even take the doors off depending if theres any interest? but has only ever had rust on the rear drivers sill which i had repaired last year What do you guys think? sounds like a contaminant in the gravel, when you add new gravel did you completely empty the tank or add the gravel while water was in it? This has happened to me before, if you must then do a complete water change ASAP its not good for the fish but better then the cloudy water they are currently breathing in
