  1. Do you know what's the best pop top roof to go for? Be looking maybe next year but they are expensive. - - - Updated - - - Should've got myself a swivel captains seat
  2. Yeh prices are very steep right now, even for high milers, the 'scene tax'. I did start looking at transit vans just before this one came up. Lucky to get this one. Just got to get all the camping gear now, a trip to Go Outdoors is needed.
  3. Yeh been on there a while. Same as usual with Facebook, some really helpful info & people but a few idiots as well.
  4. Yes mate. Just needed spigot rings, 5mm spacers & some range rover to Vw wheel nuts. Bentley wheels fit as well but they're expensive. I'll give you a vw wave if I go past you in it :-)
  5. We bought it with the private plate 'meg' already on, we r giving it back soon
  6. It wasn't too expensive. We got the van quite cheap off a friend so we could probably sell it for a lot more than we've got in it but it's not for sale. Price of them is stupid at the moment. We got a professional to fit the windows, electrics & insulation so that was our biggest cost but at least we know it's done properly.
  7. We've been working on Meg over the winter. Glass in the sides & back, curtains, leisure battery, led lights, Insulated & carpeted walls, new seats, full width rock & roll bed. & I've just fitted 20" range rover alloys. She's now ready for camping this summer, just bought an awning to fit on the side to give us more space. Just hope we get the weather now. I went with a bold orange theme for the seats but think it works well on these vans. Not too fussed on the rear seats so might ask mondo to design something new for next year but they'll do for now.
  8. Yeh would be good to see one lit up, I'll have to look in the boot see if the other parts for it are there.
  9. You can see the back plate with the bulb holders in this picture.
  10. Yeh that's right there's one on the swb. Will have a look into it soon but doubt I'll leave it on the car.
  11. Changing tomorrows meeting point to the chimneys pub car park. CH66 5ND. Meet at the same time. See you all tomorrow
  12. Lee Dent might know where this zed is. I believe Ian Smith bought it from Craig, then something went wrong with the engine & Callum who used to help Lee out bought it. Not sure if he's still got it though.
  13. Great stuff. Got Keith coming as well as long as he's not too busy
  14. There's a meet next Sunday at The Wheel Deal in Bromborough. Already got a few zeds coming down. We're meeting at the Starbucks off junction 5 m53 CH62 9AQ at 11:30am. Let me know if you wana come.
  15. Will he be coming the meet next week?
  16. I'm after this spoiler for the swb. I believe it's off a '94 model? Anyone have one for sale?
  17. Really sticky stuff, gets all over your hands. My dad always keeps a roll of this in the garage.
  18. Great work Si. Giving me ideas for mine. I'm surprised Andy didn't try doing it himself like the rest of his interior. Or did he...
  19. Get yourself subscribed & pm Tubz. I was speaking to him about his swb when I was looking for one. He was planning on getting it to jimmer to fix a few bits & sell it on, nice swb slick top.
  20. Only a few paint touch ups. A scab on the T top. The skirts have cracked slightly were they meet the car, probably when it's been on the lift as it's really close.
  21. He was that cosy he slept the whole way down, don't know how with the noise off the exhaust & me blasting out the rolling stones :-)
  22. Yesterday I dropped the Zed at Keith's for some paint. I think I cleaned the mud from his driveway with the stillen lip. Harry didn't want to leave the Zed, he loves it as much as I do I think.
