Went to a local car show today. Weather was perfect. Got some nice comments about the Zed too.

Just ordered from them as well.

Had a few updates from Lee, engine is out. Lots of deletes done, cambelt changed, engine bay sprayed black. He's thrown in a lot of shiny bits including a powdercoated plenum, he's a good bloke! Off to see him in the morning to see how it's going. Managed to find the spoiler I was after too.

Has he managed to stretch the rear arches for the big rims?

Not sure I'll make the next one. Hoping to get to the Wheel Deal Retro Festival meet on the same day. Have a look on Facebook. There's also a weekly meet on the Wirral, Wirral Weekly Interesting Car & Bike Meets. Only just started so trying to get the numbers up.

Listen to radio 2 at work, just for pop master really. Radio 2's second string of presenters is awful. Absolute radio is good but a lot of adverts.

I've got an auto box & torque converter from an NA for sale £150ono. Also some 17" wheels which will be for sale soon. They're still on the car at the moment so I'll set up a proper for sale thread once they're off, probably be next month but if anyone is interested let me know. I'm thinking £300ono.

So Lee has been hard at work on the slicktop. The steering column was knackered so that's been changed. New shocks & springs I got from Dan fitted, TT brakes & uprated discs & pads also from Dan fitted. Managed to find a lightweight z1 prop so I think I have all the parts now. Even got the spoiler I wanted in the right colour.

To be fair the standard front bumper still suits the car with the impul kit on it. A Stillen lip would look even better.

I was only joking mate. I just enjoy winding Gray up lol.

Trying to decide if I should swap wheels

The kids woke me at 6 this morning so went for an early drive to Parkgate with the sun being out. Too early for ice cream though. She's looking really good after Keith sorted the couple of little rust spots.

I've seen the reimo one, I know there stuff is good. Need to look into it soon, be handy for when the kids are older & we just wana do an overnight stop, save setting up the awning.
