  1. Thanks mate, much appreciated, I'll get in touch with him
  2. Can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement fibreglass spoiler to replace the water logged foam thing?
  3. Nice pics mate and a good insight into what I have to come. I have the sections you show in your blog but still require the front main bits. I phoned up MJP Eastern and was quoted £360 with the VAT for both main sills, which will bring the total to a staggering £650. The inner sections with the holes were also available for a £100 or so each. Which to me seems ridiculous for a bit of tin with a few holes, so I will fabricate this bit myself armed with a pair of gilbows and some 16 guage. Although I'm a metalworker anyway, I must say the task ahead seems a little daunting, I'm sure it will be okay though when I get going.
  4. The sills only took about a week, that's made and delivered
  5. Ok mate, will get some pics up
  6. Thats who I bought from £50 a coponent everything perfect
  7. Nice one mate, am I in for a price shock
  8. Both sides mate and they do look good. I didn't really need the arches but if I cut through inner, outer etc, I bet there's corrosion in the seam
  9. Received my new sill bits from a guy called Steve who was recommended by Steams and Sussex Stu. All is good and the parts he supplies are not available oem. For £290, what he supplies is rear arches, lower rear wing outer & inner section and they appear to be bloody good and offer up well, however the main section tucking under front wing was not supplied. He did tell me what he manufactures and supplies, I was at work and not giving the conversation the attention that it deserved. Although I need these I also need the main sections tucking under the front wing. I possibly can make my own inner section where required using thin wall box section cut down with 4" micro discs to give me some angle. Anyway, any advice on the main sills would be greatly appreciated, many thanks Neil
  10. I think your dead right Steve, it's parked in my wife's shop at moment. I'm planning to repair sills in a couple of weeks, Ive booked a week off work to do so
  11. Anyway of easy diagnosis? I also seem to get total power loss at 5000rpm?
  12. My z recently failed it emissions test for the mot the left bank, could anybody tell me the likely cause, could it be the turbo as they both have their own intercoolers?
  13. Thanks very much mate, greatly appreciated. I will give him a call tomorrow
  14. Tried to get hold of this guy by sending a message via ebay but no reply, if anybody has any contact details for him or advise on where I can get sill components could they let me know please, phone numbers, prices would be helpful, thanks
  15. Can anybody advise me where I can buy replacement sill sections, outer, inner etc.
  16. Thanks to Groover and those who responded to my questions regarding earthing out the ecu wire to the neutral switch on my manual gearbox. I decided to take onboard the advice given and went down the path of checking my engine timing and setting to 25 degrees btdc. It was actually set at 27-28 degrees meaning that it was too advanced. It seems a little less fumey now, however it still smells like it's running rich still. Obviously my idle speed has dropped as I have retarded the ignition a few degrees, but still purrs nicely. ANY IDEAS ON WHAT MY NEXT MOVES SHOULD BE WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATED ????????
  17. I recently posted a thread about my zed being swapped from auto to manual transmission before I bought it. It was suggested that I need to earth pin 44 of the ecu to the neutral switch of the gearbox. Can anyone confirm is it definately pin 44 and can I just snip the wire on the harness and earth out to the car body, or does it have to be the gearbox switch. How do I find where the neutral switch is located on the gearbox and how do I attach. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks to all those who replied in my previous thread
  18. Ok, I will check this out over weekend, thanks
  19. Nice one mate, my mobile number is 07759 674307
  20. At some point my car has been converted from auto to manual. I noticed that the engine ecu has automatic written on it. Is there any difference in the engine ecu's, could this be why my engine is playing up?
  21. My Twin turbo z seems to be running way too rich, at around 5000rpm I lose power then it kicks back in. The exhaust is very fumey, smell definately petrol I would say. Can anyone tell me where to start?
  22. I have recently bought some 19" rims, what size tyres should I run front and back. I have 8.5" rims on front and 9.5" on rear, so I was thinking 235's front, 265's rear, why do some owners go for a 30 profile on the rear, rather than a 35?????
  23. Thanks for your help:thumbup1:
  24. Just bought some 19" rims, 8.5" fronts and 9.5 rears, what size tyres do I need:confused1:
