  1. It is a greddy but an early one, at this precise moment not sure. I will have a look tomorrow. I think I have sussed it now earlier tonight. I had a pipe missing to the o/s throttle body hardpipe which connects to the boost solenoid. The big o/s balance bar pipe connection goes to o/s bov. But a question I could do with answering is, at the front by the maf there is a boost sensor with a tube off of it, where does this connect to????? can anyone help???????
  2. Thanks mate, that is really helpful, I'll print off those diagrams and go through it.
  3. I have just installed a engine in my zed which I removed from a donor car. Could anybody tell me the correct way to plumb it in as I can't quite remember how it was originally done. At the moment both the hoses from the actuators are connected to the boost solenoid com pipe. What I need to know is where do the other 2 pipes go which T-off on the other side of the solenoid. Can anybody help please! !!!!
  4. OK Thanks that's good to know
  5. Is it possible to change the turbos without removing the engine?
  6. Yeah that's what I was thinking Steve
  7. What's the knack then. They are a little easier if you tilt the engine back towards bulkhead. Yes turbo elbows are on
  8. Could anybody tell me if you can fit the engine and gearbox joined together. It doesn't look possible. But would save the struggle with the two top bell housing bolts.
  9. I agree Greg, that's the one I like, such a lot of money for a bit of plastic, roughly the same as I paid for a new 99 spec front bumper.
  10. I'm after a rear diffuser can anybody help????
  11. A change of plan mate, the car I've bought is only good for parts. The rear suspension turret and boot floor are badly bent and creased, so she's a scrapper. Shame really as it was a really immaculate zed.
  12. Thanks Steve, that's very kind of you.
  13. I am after the frame itself mate. And the ns wishbone plus a few other bits. It's for jdm lwb tt. Another one I've acquired. Hopefully I will be active, out with South Central soon
  14. Does anybody have a rust free rear subframe that they want to sell???
  15. Wow, people I certainly spending out on their zed, you wait till I tell my Mrs' s I'm being hard done by ;) Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  16. MJP eastern. I've just ordered one I have the phone number if you want it. About 380 + vat and shipping. Not much change out of 500 quid.:( Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  17. I see what you mean. The system I have is one of those aftermarket things made on the car. I've removed the complete system from the car. It looks like one of those stainless systems made on the car and cruedly mig welded with mild steel wire. It has been made with cats welded into it so I guess it was originally made on a later vehicle and swapped onto mine. I might just live with the system the way it is for the moment as it was running fine and I have plenty else to spend on. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  18. Mines a 1991 so no issues there. I think the scrappy pays about £70 a piece for them:) Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  19. Can I delete the cats as well as it's old enough???? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah still plugging away at it. Just ordered a 99 spec front bumper (ouch! !!) From MJP. Need to pull the engine from the red one now and rebuild Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  21. Z32 vg30dett On my zed I have an after market stainless exhaust with the oval back boxes. On the downpipes there is a tube welded on each, approx 1/2" in diameter, which has been capped off with a piece of hose and a spark plug jubileed in place. My question is what are they for and can I just cut them off and tig weld a plate over hole????? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  22. Hi Steve, remember my car is an auto converted to a manual box.
  23. Is the main engine loom the same on the auto and manual cars. The reason I ask is because there is part of the loom inside which goes to a connector block, which I guess probably heads back to the key ignition switch. I am just asking because I am reshelling from an auto converted to a manual to a manual? Thanks gents!!!!
  24. Just removed the engine ecu loom from old car which was originally auto and converted to manual. The shell it's going in is a manual. Are the looms in both a manual and auto the same. The reason I ask is although the majority of wiring goes to the engine bay, there is another which goes elsewhere inside?
  25. I will do it Steve as luckily I'm stripping from a donor car which is all intact. I have photographed and labelled every disconnected wire from the engine bay. I will do the same inside :) have you any idea who stripped down this white shell and for what reason????
