Full respray.
That looks really nice. I look forward to mine looking like that.

Full respray.
That sounds about the same as down here. I just wondered if it would be cheaper up North. My only reason being when I look at second hand car prices on Gumtree, the bargains always seem up north. Thanks for the reply that's about what I've been quoted here for a full respray in pearl white.

Okay that sounds interesting I know of a couple of places myself. My zeds in for an mot tomorrow so if all is well I might pop there myself. Thanks for the lead. I know of two places in Ferndown if your interested.

Full respray.
Hi folks, I'm looking for a complete respray on my zed. It is pearl white at the moment. I'm looking at going for a really modern glassy looking brightest white I can get. I'm in the Bournemouth area, but don't mind travelling anywhere if it means I'm going to get a spectacular job at a good price. Any recommendations and estimates would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Neil.

Cruise control actuator plug
Sorry, don't know why I've ended up talking about air con. I will take a look and see if it's buried somewhere below. If it's part of the engine harness that would explain it, as it's out of a vehicle which didn't have cruise Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk

Cruise control actuator plug
That's what I thought, is it possible that it might have fallen down low during engine swap. mine must have aircon as I distinctly remember undoing that oval plate on bulkhead with two large pipe nuts to install engine loom. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk

Cruise control actuator plug
Could anybody tell me where the cruise control actuator plugs in under the bonnet. My car is made from 3 different zeds. The shell is a 1990 jdm import. The engine and harness are from a 1995 import which did not have aircon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Speedo doesn't work
After my shell swap my speedo doesn't work. The shell I swapped onto is a 1990. My running gear and engine loom are from a 95 n plate. Only the engine harness was replaced, all the other wiring is original. Bearing in mind the 95 model had electric hicas and the 1990 had hydraulic hicas. The hicas has now been removed. Can anyone tell me how I can check the speed sensor signal from the socket which goes into the back of the speedo. I have a multimeter to test. Any advice or help wold be greatly appreciated. The instrument cluster is from a UK spec car I used to have. The 1990 model was originally fitted with cruise control the 95 model wasn't.

Replacement clutch
That sounds good!!! How much was the flywheel, also what make are the bits and where did you get them.
-
Replacement clutch
My clutch release bearing is noisy so I have decided to pull the box and change the whole clutch. I think I am running approx 360+ rwhp, so I'm after something which would take further mods I guess about 500hp. There are many on ebay, do any particular brands come highly rated, also I have noticed some hybrid flywheels. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Speedo doesn't work
It's actually the cluster from my 1991 uk spec, but one of the wires has been cut and reconnected with bullets. Will solder and heat shrink, just to eliminate, fingers crossed, hopefully may resolve issue.

Speedo doesn't work
Great, that's one thing clarified.
-
Speedo doesn't work
Would I be right in assuming that if I am putting a UK instrument cluster into a jdm spec car I will not need a kph to mph converter????
-
Speedo doesn't work
Ok, I'll do that and let you know how I get on

Speedo doesn't work
Sorry should say greddy

Speedo doesn't work
No that loom was already in the shell. I changed the main engine loom because it had been hacksawed off at the bulkhead and the donor car had a spliced piggy back greedy emanage.
-
Speedo doesn't work
The later vehicle which I removed the loom from had electric hicas rather than hydraulic hicas. I guess I will have to put a multimeter on the sensor terminals behind cluster and see if the voltage changes when I drive.

Speedo doesn't work
Not sure to be honest, didn't give it a thought.
-
Speedo doesn't work
It is but then I removed it with that driftworks hicas eliminator kit. But it didn't work before the kit was fitted.

Speedo doesn't work
I've checked the sensor connection plug on gearbox, the sensor itself looks OK. I found a post from jefftt saying the only problem with these is when the black plastic end bit moves outward from the body.
