  1. Sounds about right a friend of mines brother wrote off his Skyline recently and hadn't declared the air filter and got no payout

  6. That's what I thought as well but when I queried it over the phone I was told that the underwriters have been clamping down a lot over the last 6 - 12 months on mods.
  7. I know we get another insurance thread every other week but..... I have just been turned down by both Swinton and Footman James because of the mods on my zed. I only have basic stuff air filter, wheels, exhaust, coilovers , strut braces and a bit of a body kit. I know there are a good few of you who are covered by Footman and have a lot more mods and much bigger power Has anyone else been having a problem or am I just unlucky?

  10. If it is the converter try changing the 12 volt wire that powers it to a different one. That solved the problem for me and only takes a few minutes to try.

  15. I'm in Cambourne but my brother rents one of the council garages in the village. I won't be fitting the gearbox for about six months so if you need tyre bikes you can have them and just replace them by then

  22. My house is less the 10 years old so it had been done before I brought it. I reckon I have at least another month before I consider putting on the heatingand then will only be for a few hours in the AM and then in the same in PM.
