He was a bloody squaddie too. Read this in the paper today. I've heard of the expression 'give someone a rocket up the arse' but that's taking it to extreme!

Been away for a couple of days. Yes some of the DZs do trips away, but can come at a cost of about 1 - 1.5K (depending). Have a look at http://www.bpa.org.uk or http://www.dropzone.com if you are interested. Skydive St Andrews is not too far from you either. Clicky will take you to their first jump page. Go for it!!! You should do it bud. I've got just over 200 jumps and still get a massive thrill every time. Black Knights is a good club, but the weather in UK is poo. Get yourself off to the states, Perris Valley or Skydive Elsinore are excellent DZs and with the current exchange rates, quite cheap too. Colin

f40? i think not...
Not too keen on the FleaBay one, but the one AlFo's posted is very nice. Like that one a lot (yes even the spoiler!), kind of reminds me of the noble.

Moving to Germany have car questions...
Where about in central Germany are you moving to? As Danny said the roads in Germany are very good. Some smaller towns have cobbled roads but this should not be a problem. There are very specific laws regarding items you need to carry in your car. You need a first aid kit that meets european standards (local supermarkets sell them quite cheap), warning triangle and if you drive on the autobahns, a 5 litre fuel can. They will shortly be introducing a winter tyre law so when the temp drops below a certain average temp (7 dec Celcius I think) you need winter tyres. Some Laender (counties/states) already require this along with snow chains (southern Germany in the main). I can assure you that they are not cheap for a 300zx. Fuel costs are slightly lower than in the UK but with an autobahn close by it can get used up pretty quickly (no speed limit - only recommended). Insurance is also slightly more expensive than in the UK (not sure what it is like in Seoul) but I pay 1200 Euros per year at age 39 with 7 years no claims. Good luck when you get over here and give me a shout when you arrive. If I can help I will. Colin

new engine bling
Got mine the other day, but haven't managed to fit it yet. If it looks that good, can't wait. Another top quality product from Smithy.

Doesn't take long eh!
Got that E-Mailed to me this morning and PMSL. Some people just sit and wait for something to happen for a bit of comedy. Either be happy or sad, I choose happy every time.

Brake Disk Helllllp
Cheers guys, the place is just along the road so I will take one of my old disks along and show him.

Brake Disk Helllllp
Bugger. That's a pain because the place is now not open again till monday. Does anyone know the correct size and offset for NA fronts? At least then I can show him exactly what I am after.
-
Brake Disk Helllllp
I sure hope not. The local dealer who I have never had problems with before, says that NA and TT disks are the same size. Perhaps someone on here knows better.

Brake Disk Helllllp
I've got new front disks which do not seem to fit properly. The disks I have are the correct size 280 X 30 and the correct PCD, but as soon as I put them on and tighten the calipers, they bind to the calipers and do not move. I have measured the disks that were on and they are 280 X 26 (a bit too worn). Surely no one would do a brake downgrade! Could it be that my calipers have misshapen somehow? I am now at a total loss. I have a 90 Import NA, could this be the reason. Perhaps different size disk/caliper. Colin

99.9 for V-Power !
I think it's just a case of Optimax now being called V-Power in line with the rest of europe. Don't think the fuel is any different.

Its a baby girl
Congratulations bud. Enjoy it whilst she is a baby, she will only turn out to be a teenager! lol.

Shell press release about V-Power
They've had VPower over here for a while now, but it is advertised at 100 octane. I use it all the time and it is the same price as optimax over in UK.
