Thanks I will hold out u til spring. I was just trying to get the feel of we still have to give Zeds away or are they starting to be collectible. Cause it seems the Zed does not get the respect and value that I think they should. £6-£8k for a Zed…..or £10k for an xr3i 😬🤷‍♂️ nuts imo.

Thinking of maybe selling my Zed. Time and use has been very limited. Just wondering what you guys think the market is like atm for zeds? Obviously had a lot of work done to get it manual, inc brand new 99spec gearbox. Still needs a few cosmetic bits done.

My bonnet insulation was getting a bit tatty, so I have removed it. What can I use instead and does it have to be bonnet insulation? Not looking for chrome/mirror look.

I was thinking of getting these as Zcentre dont have the rear window ones only the doors. Worried about quality now. As not cheap saw them at over $400 plus shipping.

Even the merc gearbox is shite, I have the 7G after being told by merc “we says its the best auto out there” was not impressed. ZF8 in the x5 is so much better, so was my old 2007 335d ZF6 tbh. Owning a merc has opened my eyes too all the over hyped belief that they are good vehicles and I wont start on their “customer service” 🤬

Got mine out of hibernation, a good wash, then new matching plates fitted.

Thanks guys. I saw Hks filters etc, so wasn’t 100% weather to bother or just go for the nissan ones (wasn’t looking for a cheaper alternative) Mobil 1 was what I was thinking but saw 0w-40, 5w-30 and 10w-40 and had no idea which to go with

As above. Need to get the Zed an oil change. Would you also stick to genuine oil filters?

What kits are people recommending? I’ve given up finding some 99 Spec hids for mine now ?
