  1. More of a novelty thing in my mind, and I don't think they would suit a car if put in aftermarket.
  2. Oh yeah, this job will definitely be waiting till summer. With no garage over my head I could be in trouble if I tried it anytime soon.
  3. No don't think so. Car's running tip top at the moment (he says), it's ;iterally just that small patch of oil that bugged me.
  4. Sounds like a plan. Considering it's only a tiny leak at the moment I might leave it a little bit until I got the funds to change the injectors at the same time.
  5. So are you quite confident with this job? (plenum off, gaskets changed etc)
  6. What's the benefit of doing that?
  7. No afraid not, no garage at all. You? vodkashots, explain theplenum bypass thing to me....
  8. Oh great, turn one job into a billion! :P No wonder it's time consuming!
  9. Done! Don't be a fool like me and buy the sandwich plate with the two adapters first. Neither will fit. 4 adapters FTW!
  10. Sounds like a plan. If somebody would be kind enough to do a step by step guide for it that would be ever so hndy.....
  11. Dorset. Dorchester area. Any takers?
  12. C*ck it! Who wants to do it for me for some cash? An educated Zed owner will prob be quicker at it than a general mechanic.
  13. I recently noticed a small patch of oil on the drive where I park my car. Had my mechanic take a look when it was in the garage last and apparently it's coming from somewhere above the oil filter. It's not coming from any part of that area but dripping down from somewhere above. He could look into it further but he'd basically be working blind while clocking up the money he's gonna charge me for labour. Anyone had a similar placed oil leak or does anyone have an educated guess as to where it's likely to be coming from?
  14. Me neither but there's a load of water surrounding England...
  15. Oh man all those cars in China looked like the knock offs you get on Grand Theft Auto!
  16. I do hope I get to laugh at those daft tw@t boyracers with their blindingly bright blue HIDs that they paid a small fortune for having to switch back to the standard lights.
  17. I was going to use that but the threads (although very similar) are slightly different. You were jst lucky I guess. I didn't wanna risk forcing it in there and stripping the thread off.

  19. I personally don't like autos (I'd rather drive the car myself) and ifyou don't want to be sinking money into it then you're not gonna want to go near the RX-7. It would definitely be the skyline for me out of those choices.
  20. I've had an all new straight through exhaust from the manifolds and it's still making the noise! :\
  21. How much labour involved in changing them?
