A friend of mine has the following problem, he has had it to 2 garages with no luck . One has suggested a sticking valve? Anyone have any idea's? When the car is started from cold it runs awful,ie missing spluttering sometimes cuts out, lack of power,wont pull properly. After 10-15 mins when the engine is warm the car runs ok. (sometimes turning the engine off and restarting makes it better)

Yep thats me 1923, I have a massive gap under the floor boards (3 foot) can this be filled in or am I asking for damp issues.
