Good news that your Zed is in the more than capable hands of bodymech mate. They will do it and you proud I'm sure. Have to agree with so about the snout being replaced! While its there mate, might be worth seeing if they can have a go at getting the front bumper to fit a bit better and throw on one of their custom swb/lwb/hybrid rear bumper creations :thumbup:

Now you've mentioned it, it does look a bit flat, although that could be down to shit camera? I didn't get picks of underneath either. I thought the arch would have been a easy rub down treat and paint jobbie....

I have had a lot of close up pics emailed to me of the sills, the bottom rear of the arches etc, and all seem pretty good. I know about the rust on the arch, apparently this is the only rust on the car. The rear bumper has some fading, didn't notice any paint problems on the front bumper, just that it needed refitting to get it right. Your keen eye so is a reason I would like someone to have as look for me, for me just to go and have a look means a 4.5 hour train ride and a shit load of expence.

Mate i've spoke to him and I wouldn't be paying anywhere near what he's asking :) My 1st Zed was pretty much exactly the same as this one except a 90, I loved the sound it made with the full stainless decat system, so did everyone else when I turned up at Santa pod. This Zed would be a great starting point for me again.

I know its as bit late notice, but is there space for another Zed? I've been trying to get a new car for a while, and think I may now have one in time. Would really love to join in and be part of this Zed historic moment.

The power light seems to only flash when it plays up, when you start and it doesn't flash, then you know you can pull away without issue.

My last Zed kept doing this also. Not sure why it happened but do know that it only started after messing with my headlights. I was told that there is some wiring behind the passenger side headlight that is linked with the autobox but can neither confirm or deny this.

Bargain! :shock: That's half what I paid but I was insured on TT with mods and 8000mile per year.

Have to agree, I know it means bodging it for a bit but it gets you out the shit and able to save up until you can get it sorted properly.
