  8. Sorry bud id of replied sooner have been busy today. Theres brake fluid under car which confirms somethings bust! Being stuck in neutral kinda stopped me taking car out tonight :( Speak laterz bud
  9. Best thing about the v6 is its looks! Bloody good looking car! But you could buy something such as a civic-r which is much cheaper for near as damn it the same performance! If you get one mate go for the newer one as its much better than the first! I took one out for a test drive and hated how they offset the steering wheel to the pedals just felt too wierd! My opinion of course.
  10. Think ive found the problem to my light clutch! the res is EMPTY! I never even knew that resevoir exsisted until today! What do you use any recomendations? Oh and ive been reading posts on this subject do I top up and bleed the air out or bleed first? Cheers for any help
  11. Cheers Pete will sleep bit better now! Been one thing after the other with this car! Ive just finished work its pissing down and too dark to check now ill have a good look tomorrow cheerz for your help people :)
  12. So its not expensive??? Please say no so I can sleep tonight!
  13. As you push down on the clutch pedal the first 3-4 inches does absolutley nothing then you push down from about halfway to the floor you can feel resistance but its hardly enough to be able to select a gear! When you do eventually manage to get it into a gear the bite point is so low almost as soon as you let clutch up! The clutch is brand new only covering around 5000 miles i would say and this problem seems to of just occured overnight as when i last used it everything seemed fine its so wierd!!! Can anyone help me as the car is basically stranded unable to get it into gear!!! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal
  14. LOL im in the RAF and am grossly offended! I wish what you wrote was true but its not even close mate we have just recently come back from a 3 week detachment to Gibraltar. Bunking in 8 man rooms with bunk beds with no aircon in rocketing heat!, with just a fan in the centre of the room that doesnt work and keeps u up all night because the bearings are fooked! Showers that dont work in a bathroom infested with cockroaches! Far from your 5* picnic that was maybe once true 60 years ago! :) Just you wait Geekyhawkes till we meet on PGR3!!! :)
  15. Respect to that rider! Has he no fear? Never knew the Stig rode bikes too :)
  16. Think you drove my car after you rebuilt engine greg and i remember you saying to ryan you reckoned it was tight then. It had a new clutch fitted with the rebuild would the gearbox oil of been changed then? You have to push clutch allway down as it bites really low
  17. Just recently experiencing when cold the gears reluctant to slot in! seems ok when it warms up! Reckon its just needing some new lube?
  18. Im seriously thinking of getting a cheap 2nd car for the winter! Think id rather cycle than take the z out on salted wet roads !!!!!
  19. Just leaving Halfords in the Kingsway retail park, Dundee. Same age n colour as mine only big spoiler on back.
  20. No worries buddy just let me know in advance when you next plan to come up and we can arrange to meet :)
  21. I can get you the aviation ACF50 for nothing so long as you dont mind driving up to Scotland :) Is that how much it costs to buy??? geez surely waxoil at around £15 for a 2.5 litre can is far better value? Cant be that much difference?
  22. If your car is on axle stands or over a pit you can waxoil the whole underside, arches around the fuel tank, bat bay etc in an hour. I used two 2.5 ltr cans and the spray gun which i strongly recommend. You will get minging but its worth the hassle!
  23. yeah that would be good. Do you still keep in contact with scottywill? Do you know if he will be coming?
  24. Its on the Kingsway - the big retail park where theres Tesco's, Halfords, Pizza hut, burger king etc etc. Perfect Boy racer hang out :)
  25. Saturday 19th August 8:00pm in the Kingsway retail park
