Skyline Brembo questions
Right, I've picked up a good set of R33 Calipers, Ferrodo pads, almost new disks and mounting bolts. I've got braided lines already on the car to the stock calipers. Should the new calipers be "plug and play" to the existing lines? Sorry to sound like a noob - I've removed the calipers and disks before but never had to unplug 'em ;) CheerZ Steve :)

Any manual UK TT, selling soon?
Blimey Jeff - that's spookily close to my Zed's details and ownership history (I'm just missing the wide body). Sounds like a great motor :D Steve :)

Skyline Brembo questions
One more question - do I need to ensure that I get hold of the mounting bolts? Are they easy to source separately otherwise? CheerZ Steve :)

Skyline Brembo questions
Cool - thanks Mike. So I guess the main argument for R34s is that they should be newer and therefore in better condition (plus the colour) Steve :)

Skyline Brembo questions
Can someone in the know answer these questions: Are R33 and R34 front Brembos the same specification? I know that the mounting holes need to be drilled for the R34s, but are there any stopping/performance differences? Is there a difference in braking systems between V-Spec and non V-Spec Skylines? I've done a couple of searches but couldn't come up with the answers! Any help/pointers appreciated. CheerZ Steve :)

UK cars don't have the wiring in place. You'll need to run new wiring from one of the rear clusters CheerZ Steve :)

Few questions, Many Thanks
Yes, deffo turbo timer. However, you should be able to remove the key  Engine should remain running even if you lock the car up and walk away. That's how most timers I've seen are setup... Steve :)

How much did you buy your zed for????
1st one - G plate UK in 1995 - £17,000 Current one- L plate UK in 1997 - £23,500 I don't want to think about what I've spent on it since... CheerZ Steve :)

Thanks guys. It was a good drive home, but tricky keeping the revs sensible (keeping under 3k at the moment). She's running well and I'm sooooo chuffed to have her back again  I'll deffo be up for a meet anytime soon - it's been a while! ;) Steve :)

Well, she's finally coming home...
Will do bud - although now the bodywork mods begin LOL. Nothing too serious - 99 spec rear spoiler, subtle side skirts and an original colour blow over :D

Well, she's finally coming home...
As above Allan - it's been a bit of a mare and I almost got rid. Hopefully, my patience will have paid off :D

Well, she's finally coming home...
LOL - too true. Started with Ztech in 2006 and she never ran right (leaky injector, one of the new turbos collapsed and a cylinder was trashed :( ). Then went to Andy Duff who fitted a replacement block, new tubs and some other bits (this took a while). Finally she's with Jeff who checked her over and got her up to MOT standard :D
