One BOV, one recirc - any problem?
BTT - I'm fairly sure that this will be ok, but a second opinion would be much appreciated ;) Steve :)

One BOV, one recirc - any problem?
Have had the car off the road for 2 weeks now fitting my BOVS and I've had to abandon the job whilst I order some silicone hose  Not sure if anyone would have done this before, but would there be any problem running one BOV and one original recirc for a week or so until I can finish the job properly? CheerZ Steve :)

Just won some A'pexi BOVS
FFS - I give up! I have cut the bracket off the driver's side pipe but the angle of the BOV means that the vacuum pipe on the tip is pressed hard up against my 99 spec front mesh  I think the only way to get it installed properly will be to buy some 30mm silicone hose from somewhere (Smithy?). Meanwhile, I'm going to put it all back together and run one BOV and one recirc. Shouldn't cause any problems as they are independent... Steve :)

DelCMOS virus removal
DelCMOS is a boot sector virus so will be memory resident as soon as the machine starts from the hard disk. There are some removal instructions here. You basically have to to create a clean boot disk and then recreate a clean master boot record. HTH Steve :)

Carbon Canister Removal - help!
Thanks Eric! Please see pic below. The pipes I have been supplied protrude almost exactly to the electical connection on the side of the CC. I can't see any other way of fitting the DS valve  Steve :)

Carbon Canister Removal - help!
I'm having to remove my carbon canister so I can get my A'pexi BOVS plumbed in properly  I've found the TwinTurbo.net article but the hosting for the pics doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone know of any other tech docs for this or have any of their own pics? Even a print of the original article would be great! Any help or advice appreciated! CheerZ Steve :) * EDIT * Has anyone done this without removing the front bumper?

Just won some A'pexi BOVS
*****cks - I've almost finished but have one problem  Passenger side fits in fine, driver's side has a number of what look like aircon pipes and a black cannister in the way (see pic). Don't think it's gonna go in here :( MarkZX or Sideways300 - did you have this problem on your TTs and if so what exactly did you do to get around it? Any advice appreciated as always! CheerZ Steve :)

95 RON(unleaded) or 98 RON(super unleaded)
I ran my UK TT on unleaded until I changed to a more aggressive chip. Since then have run only on Optimax. Would recommend it regardless of N/A vs TT as my fuel economy has improved tremendously. I'm sure the extra cost is saved by the extra miles at the end of the day. HTH Steve :)
