  1. Very nice mate, really like your car.
  2. Thanks, but is there anywhere in the uk? I only need a small section covering would some aluminium foil heat resistant tape be up to the job?
  3. Just renewed again. :hyper:
  4. Hi Where can I get some material heat shield protection for my gearbox wiring? The cable with the heat shield on has perished and the wires are exposed. Thanks
  5. The car has a standard exhaust and no boost controller. The only mod was a cone air filter. Cant understand why it would have one unless things had been taken off before it was imported.
  6. Just took my ecu out to send off for a new chip and found this: It is labeled as 8492. Anyone have any idea what settings it would have etc? Or any other info on it?
  7. Yeah im ok bud. Been about, just not in the zed. It’s in bits at the mo just upgrading a few things. Should be on the road for April, after her usual winter hibernation.
  8. ive seen this about the town last few days. Got the three round rear lights and it looks like a pearl blue green silver colour. Wide arch body kit. Interior look interesting too :wack:
  9. Happy Birthday Dan :duffer::duffer:
  10. I used sockets on the top 2 bolts.
  11. passengers side i removed the battery to access the top two bolts, and the top bolts for the driverside accessed from above. The 2 bottom nuts from under the car using a spanner. Worst part for me was i had to remove the driverside downpipe heatshield as it stopped me getting a socket over one of the bolts.
  12. I sheered 2 of the 3 bolts when removing the cat pipes last year. This year I have removed the actual turbo down pipes, although they were awkward they where no where near as tight as the cat pipe nuts/bolts.
  13. Happy Birthday :duffer::duffer:
  14. Standard at the moment, but in the process of installing a boost controller, chip, down pipes and decatt pipes. Also removed EGR, AIV, changed pcv valves and o2 sensors.
  15. Looks very nice. Hopefully see you about.
  16. Not sure who that is. Have you posted any pics of your car yet? Is it the lime green one?
  17. get well soon Scotty
  18. Bought the kit to replace as much pipe work as possible. Problem is i cant find any 8mm pipe work for the 8mm silicone hose. Where is it hiding? Also could i use some large boost pipe to run a hose from the turbo/intercooler pipe straight to the idle valve (IAA) cutting out the hard pipe section?
  19. Just a quick technical question to them in the know. The egr solenoid connects to the air intake/intercooler pipe and also a pipe under the driver’s side throttle body. Do you join theses up with some hose or blank them? I have removed the solenoid itself.
  20. Also brought mine over.
  21. Heres some useful links: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/rotortech.html http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/caliperrebuild/caliperrebuild.html http://www.ttzd.com/tech/linestech.html The last one im not sure the order in which they bleed the brakes is correct. Best having a look at the online manual.
  22. If you are going to remove them for painting you might want to buy the caliper refurb kit. Then you can change the brake fluid and they should be more up to the job.
