Sorry for sounding thick but...... What do i mark the cas to? Do i put a mark where the timing mark of the cam pulley is in relation to the cas? Thanks

Just done another ecu test and cas fault is there again. Will swap it over and hopefully problem solved. How easy is it to replace cas?

Its a series 2 ptu.

Right done a boost leak test and found 3 leaks. First one was one of the front 4 pipes, easy. Nest one was on the plenum near the pcv valve on the drivers side. Actual small crack on the plenum. Gonna need a new plenum! 3rd on was on the IAA valve. Put the boost controller on low settings to program it up. All went well and was boosting fine ( had the boost set at 9 psi max). All of a sudden the fault developed again. Turned the boost controller down and it is still doing it. Symptoms are the rev guage goes all over the place no power and lots of back firing, and sometimes stalling. Ran out of time on the ecu swap over so ill see if i can get that done tomorrow. :headvswal :headvswal

Hi No the boost controller was not installed before. Does not run well on low boost too. Drives fine if i take it easy and dont go over 0 psi. Sure ecu is installed fine not too tight etc.

Hi, Ive just got my remapped ecu from john and installed it with my greddy boost controller. While setting up the boost controller it has started running poor. I have turned the boost controller down and tried with it off. I didnt get to use it on hi so i was boosting at about 9 psi max ( Although the boost pressure on the boost controller and the after market boost gauge seem to differ). Problem is if i try to put my foot down the car seems to stumble ( car shakes forward and bacckwards) and then cuts out. It also has been back firing. As i put my foot down its as if the turbos start to spool up and then no power. Ran a diagnostic and came up with code 11 cas problem. Reset the ecu and no more problems from cas but still running poor. Will try a boost leak test on Monday. Any ideas what the symptoms sound like? Thanks Paul

Thanks guys. Had a really good weekend. Managed to get the zed on the road too after its winter hibernation. Takes a bit of getting used to being 30 lol.

The one's i fitted to mine were very poor fitment. Im going to just get some custom ones made. They are on but touching the gearbox sump, the hangers are no where near they need to be and the end that fit onto the cat-back are angled wrong. The downpipe sections are fine though :rofl:

Auto and manual prop's are different.

Totally agree. My policy is limited mileage and pay £264 a year!! Other companies where coming out with prices from £3000 down to £580.

That pipe looks to me like the pipe that connects the egr solenoid valve to the top of the egr valve.
