  1. Happy Birthday Mate...
  2. Rubbish... Ive seen some of the meet pics on this forum and its full of tits...:lol::lol:
  3. Thanks Gary, Ive managed to sort out the steering wheel side now.. so much appreciated.. need to find out why there is no power to the horn now... Thanks Again.... Kev...
  4. Cheers Guys, went and routed through the bits I got with the car. Found the HICAS bits Lee, hopefully rebuilt properly,, Horn still not working, works to the relay, however it looks like a bit of diy has taken place after the relay so no power to the horn itself... Might have to get a sparky to have a look at it for me... Interestingly the light steering problem has disapperaed and the indicators automatically switch off now... just the horn to sort....
  5. Thanks Lee... Ill have a look through the tech threads and see what I need.. Hopefully there will be a breaker on here with the right parts...
  6. Hi Gary, Finally received the Boss and was going to fit it today but it is the wrong one... Did yours look like this? Trying to decide if my car has been modified or if Luke has genuinely sent me the wrong one.
  7. So it basically gets rid of the lip inside the wheel arch.. how do you then screw the inner liner on? That would definateley help.. anybidy else done this? and can advise what other alterations need to follow?
  8. Thanks for the offer Pez.. Ill have a play first and see how I get on.. How do they roll the arches.. not sure what this is??
  9. Hi Pez, sorry I personally dont like the look with all that rim showing...
  10. ive never understood rolling the arches? the fronts catch mainly when the wheels are slightly turned and you hit a bump so need to sort the ride height definately.. I did think about taking the spacers off, but think they will still catch.. I love the wheels and love the stance.. who do I talk to about rolling the arches and what sort of cost would I be looking at?
  11. Ill give that a go..... Cheers Dave...
  12. Cheers Pez. backs look the worst.. The garage are well into zeds so will buy a cheap set of oem shocks to get me through, ill get them swapped over this weekend in the rain.. gutted though as I try and buy new so problems like this can be negated. Only bought them as short of cash after starting new job.. serves me right.. Im going to try and repair when I get them off... any tips welcome....
  13. Absolutely gutted so hoe somebody knows better.. Bought a set of BC coilovers from Coolq in January. Apparently nearly new so paid £300 for them. Just been to have them adjusted and set properly as the wheels are catching and told that the bottom plates are ceased. They will need to be sent off, plates cut off and new ones put on.. probably costing me a couple of hundred quid.. gutted doesnt come in to it.. MOT due this week a well and car drives like a pup.... Anybody any thoughts on how I can sort them without costing a fortune? should have waited till the end of this year and bought a new set I know..
  14. Cheers your absolute star.... Ill owe you a couple of beers....
  15. Are they?? lol... my daughters right I am uncool... lol... Back to the drawing board...
  16. Has it had a bump??? I thought it was one of car mads bumpers...:clown:
  17. Hi Mate, thats very kind... craig is actually going to be sending some bits to me shortly and theres a few so doubt it would change the postage costs. Maybe I could be cheeky and ask him to sneak it in.. However, If its not an mot fail, I might hold off and have a peek in someones engine bay and see if there is any bling you can get. Although any ideas welcome, titanium sounds blingy.. lol...... Kev
  18. Its a start.... Theres a lot on here would appreciate.. mainly from wales like...:tt2:
  19. let us know mate, I paid £170 to have the insides of mine powder coated, all put back together and tyres swapped.. he did a cracking job as well... let him know you were recommended from the zed forum by another member.. hopefully he will keep supplying the good prices...
  20. He did mine when people like romax wouldnt... I would highly recommend him.....
  21. Hi Mate, try the lace in Hartlepool behind Floyd car sales... i think its ppcalloy.co.uk.. Only guy I could find in the area to take on split rims. when I went he had just re done an Aston martin and was sat outside looking fantastic... I have his name and mobile if you need it..
  22. Why would you buy them and then not build them??? confused...:confused1::confused1:
  23. if its a 450l tank, is your filter in the tank or is it external? I switched to external, but steered away from under gravel filters. My brother has the tank now as it was getting too bloody addictive.. and I was scared in case a fish bit my nose..lol.. funny as fook that daz.... You can go overboard with what you are doing. But I always found only wash half the filters at a time, certainly only replace half at a time when the time comes, but dont be eager to overclean... worst mistake I ever made was switching my gravel for sand as the Missus wanted to add elephant fish.. wiped my tank out in two days.. spent weeks trying to understand why the PH was so high and spent a fortune on chemicals...... Only when someone pointed out the sand was for cichlids and they like the high PH, thats what it does... felt a right tit... pretty much why I gave the tank up.. gutted.. Brother now keeps cichlids... lol...
  24. Thats a great write up.... onre thing I would add though, bit pedantic, but I keep carp and its easy to upset them.. when i clean my filters, I empty water out into a bucket (only used for my fish) and then clean the filters in that water.... I never clean them under a tap as it strips all the bacteria out....
