  4. Hi Guys, bit of guidance for you in the know. looking for a driving experience day for our lasses birthday and I was thinking either a drifting lesson or a 4*4 experience? Any ideas of where to go in the North East or anybody been on one they would recommend. they have the driving experience days at Croft, just wanted something a little different.. been o line its a mine field and some you dont even get to drive... Cheers then Brian.. lol... the only thing I can remember was it was used on the boat as well..:biggrin: The best deal was off Amazon.. got loads of free sponges with it etc.. its really brought the BM up and that hadnt been polished for years.. (work car.LOL) If I get into the slippery ground of polishers Ill upgrade but was happy with this one...   11. I bought a set for the front of 5 series and put redstuff pads on.. not had any problems, stops great even in the wet.. Little slow when cold though..lol.. need to warm them a little...
  12. I got a silverline 180mm sander polisher.. it wasnt too expensive and gives me a chance to see if Ill actually use it.. Cant remember who recommended it to me on here but seems to have worked fine.. 900 - 3000 rpm and 3 year gaurantee.. After using more water that is..lol
  13. I was recommended one when I asked and it was very reasonably priced.. when I go back out later Ill post up the make and model... - - - Updated - - - Could it also be the ones I got with the machine are cheap ones... Ill have a chat with our new trader and get some to try... :thumbup:

  15. Cheers.. I did look through the tech threads earlier and thats why I bought the compatible boss. Also mage sure the wheel was central, but as stated it comes on usually on Motorways and the straight line for a while.. is is a case of living with it or taking the bulb out?

  19. Any thoughts on why the hicas light may come on after driving for a while? Ive changed the hicas ball joints, topped up the fluid, ensured the steering wheel is straight. Any other thoughts to try? Cheers

  21. Probably a daft question but using my mop for the first time. Ive got about 2/3 of my BMW done but ripped through three sponge heads. the edges start to lose little pieces then they just rip apart. Ive sped the mop up, slowed it right down.. ive deen dipping the sponges in water as well, not loads just to keep it slightly damp is this what you expect or am i doing something wrong? the other thing is im using G3 but its still really hard work to get the swirls out. is there anything better than G3? Cheers
  22. I always put more in the front and less in the rear. 36psi front because of the load and 32-34 in the rear, interested in thoughts..
