  1. Thats what I was thinking Mark, most of us have lowish bumpers and they dont appear to drop too low?
  2. Has anybody used this type of frame and can share any comments? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-2-6T-Car-Recovery-a-Frame-Towing-Dolly-Solo-One-man-operation-/200960586859?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2eca2f346b My thoughts are is it low enough to tow a zed? Cheers
  3. Did the beast win best car in show this year?
  4. Cheers Chris great info....
  5. theres a big difference in price Chris, is there a big difference in quality?
  6. Not sure if they are the same but look pretty good and easy enough to fit... Ill drop him a text and ask him to have a look at the thread and comment
  7. Think Ceejay does these, worth a message to him... lot cheaper..
  8. Thought it was Noel, then realised he was showered and shaven and didnt have a daft hat on.. not sure who it is now.. :tt2: Well done Guys, good result...
  9. it all depends on your mods though, your age etc.. I have 3 cars thats why without details these threads dont mean much... Flux are one of the few companies who will insure most engine mods....
  10. Ill help as well, engine internal, tubs, injectors, boost controller and remap, bodkit, wheels and spoiler £400 from SKY, AF were also competitive. 40 with 18 years ncd, 3000 miles as soon as you mention engine, turbos and 500bhp most companies switch off...
  11. A list of mods on these threads would be good as well to put it in perspective. depending on mods a lot of companies on here wont touch you..
  12. This is good example, thanks for your post but naff off.. "if someone gets rep for doing something good then they will continue to do so"
  13. but rep is given for crap, not advice on subjects. ive seen people say have rep for that and thought what the hell?? I can see your point about the club spirit though, a new comer might be misled? tough call that one.. As for traders, you cant say anything as its liabelous, but when traders dont reply, keep your money, sell crap products you are stuck and then its a personal transaction.. Let me put it another way, its false advertising by the club so you are still liabelous. Allan, I wont get into a dabate re this as my experience is you are told you are talking *****cks and the thread is then closed.. Ill keep my issues until i meet people so they cant walk away as I hate all this keyboard warrior bull... after being let down several times im starting to get a little frustrated and would like to know which traders are good to buy from and others to avoid.. I will always support the club where I can, but I still work hard for my money and want a decent service if I procure from somebody whether on here or elsewhere..
  14. From what Ive seen your get for stupid reasons, the more friends you have the more rep you get. I personally think its very misleading for somebody knew to the forum who thinks that they may be getting better advice from someone because they have more green stripes etc... Id like to see something also very specific to traders on here, bit like ebay so you can get a good feeling about who you are trading with. its only hen you have an issue all the dirt pours out about non replies, slow delivery, naf product etc.. - Should I start a new thread for a debate on this point?
  15. want a weekend away.. lol.. Just had them to the new forest for a fortnight.. went to beaulieu and the ferrari shop at Lyndhurst they loved it.. my 11 year old dughter telling the sales guy the FF is the only practical ferrari for this country cos of the four wheel drive... lmao...
  16. Thats the weekend before the kids go back to school so might be tough.. could also tie in nicely with me possibly picking my car up but feeling is it will be a week to early.. ill keep an eye on the thread and let you know...
  17. if it doesnt clash with anything me n the missus will be there for a long weekend...
  18. Me n Dee are looking at those photos and pissin ourselves laughing.. Cant believe you found a dog as well.. lol.. Awesome....
  19. woohoo.. Thanks Si, did he clean the seagul shit off? lol... car looks amazing mate, the rights spacers and camber make a massive difference.... reckon you got the idea from seeing mine..
  20. Keep searching your pic for a snapshot of mine.. in for engine, full health check, fmic and brakes... If only I lived in Bristol the car would get pampered... when I couldnt see mine I thought yours looked nice Si..
  21. Hi Mate, I actually really like the sticker and the rear lights as you know, but not a big fan of the big bumper.. what will look good is the fact its individual and will get noticed.... dont lose the sticker though.. on another note, never liked roof spoilers but like it on the black car above...
  22. As Steve said let Noz look at it. if the trader had ignored you or not done anything then you may have had a case, because there is an effort to fix this you may be looked at as the unfavourable one. for the money involved best to sort this amicably. ive been in this boat before and the garage simply refused to admit liability and it was a main dealer. nothing I could do without strong evidence. key word there is strong.. regards the engine, you posted it was running fine so you would have to get another reputable dealer to prove its something Noel did that has caused the problem now. Best advice get it back there and let him sort it so both parties are happy.. just my two pennies, hope you dont mind..
  23. They are a great price but not happy with the disc and pad price for future changes... might ask jim to replace the fluid whilst its there.. :-) he will hate me.. lol.. - - - Updated - - - ive put mtec on the BM with red stuff pads and they have been great. miles better than stock.. been on a while now...
  24. cheers Ian, maybe an overhaul is what I need... At least in the short term...
