Yea the bovs were on the pipes going to the throttle bodies there was a vacuum feed going from the balance tube (drivers side) to 1 bov And on the passenger side the feed was coming from the passenger side of the plenum There is uncapped cut hoses under the other two pipes i replaced the bovs with the standard pipes I want to make sure the vacuum hoses are right should i just join the hose back up either side to where they are cut under the pipes?

Is the hardline for the stanard valve under the rubber intercooler pipes

I bought a new 300zx and just did a boost leak test and the flange off the after market bovs are leaking they are on the intercooler pipes beside the tb pipes I replaced them with the orginal pipes but iam wondering if i replaced the vacuum hoses properly Should the drivers side run from the nipple on the intercooler pipe to the driverside of balance tube? Should the pass side run to the plenum? The intercooler hose was just cut and not capped either side

Probably be cheaper to find a secondhand engine and swap it out?

Did a compression test today and cylinder 5 is right down bout 30psi the other two on that side are low to the other side were all fine 160psi Would the head gasket be gone or pistons or rings?

Went at taking the plenum off 2day and when i got the balance tube off look in and there is a lot of oil in plenum Also seems to be leaking down the back of the plenum on the side its misfiring on Dip stick level is gone low to is the engine f*&ked

Iam going to test that everything for power 2moro, ptu then coilpack injectors noticed theres tape around the loom going to ptu and a single black wire out of it and turned back away from the ptu and back into the loom also there was tape around the connector on the coilpack of the cylinder thats misfiring

Tested the injector 12ohms on the injector could the injector be clogged maybe or maybe the ptu is gone bad

Iv a multimeter sorted for 2moro eve so il see what results i get from that

No yet ism not to sure how to do that to be honest

All injectors are ticking away so iam stumped anybody have any ideas of where to try next

Ok il try that next i read about the connectors gettin a build up of corosion what would be best to use to clean them

Test the plug going to the injector? Would i be able to hear each 1 ticking over the engine or how do u mean

Iv a misfire in cylinder 5 took the leads off the coilpacks 1 by 1 everyone dropped in revs except number 5 switched the plug from 5 to a good one no joy switched the coilpack with a good one no joy took the coilpack out with sparkplug and it sparked so it is getting power to coilpack have a spare ecu tried that no joy Any ideas what to try next injector? Or is there anything else iam missing Any help thanks

If u drifting it with the hicas kicking in, would the rear wheels not be steering the backend back in Like if u drift a right hander the back goes out to the left u opposite lock to the left but the back wheels are turning right If u get my drift

Thats close i think iv a few jap wheels with 205mm or maybe 215mm tyres, its a good trailer at a great price i dont mind changing wheels over to get it on

I taught maybe the wheelbase width might be narrower than the body widht its only 50mm in the difference

Is that the wheel base width or the car width cause the sides a very low on trailer 2 inch high

Looking at buying a trailer to move the zed i dont have a chance to measure the car at the moment The trailer is 5 foot 9/10 wide inside would it fit the z on it

I bought them second hand but was told they where 350z, do u reckon it be ok to space them out with washers? The be only ten mil left of thread holding the calipers on tho
